We had a lovely family stay at Crystal Resort. My children enjoyed the waterpark and the access to the beach! The staff are so friendly! Djevin brings so much energy to his role - he was amazing with keeping us entertained and laughing throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!

A little disorganised at check in. Reception staff insisted I present them with a voucher before they would give us access to the room. I had no voucher (is this the 1990s???) and would not accept that a booking in my name would in fact be my reservation!! Not ideal after a 12 hour flight from London. 90 minutes completely wasted and frustrating to say the least. However, that was the only issue with the hotel. Room was huge, food excellent, selection of drinks was excellent and all staff super friendly at all times.

We enjoyed the food variety available from the buffet, breakfast, lunch and dinner (we always missed tea time). The onsite restaurants food was also good. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We just had a great time.

The hotel is ok. There are better hotels in Mauritius. The food was OK but not great. It’s a nice setting and has a good beach. You might get board if you stay here more than a week and we couldn’t get into the restaurants that we wanted to every night.

Beautiful hotel, looks much better than the photos. It is a big property. Beach is one of the most beautiful I have seen and I travel a lot. Great customer service, great entertainment, perfect place, I would absolutely stay again. The only negative would be that if you are not all inclusive they will rip you off. Everything inside the resort is triple the price or more and unfortunately you cannot go anywhere near outside so you will have to spend a lot on basics like water at every meal. A bottle of water in a supermarket is 15 rupees and in the hotel it is 90 rupees, buffet lunch it is 840 rupees without water. Massages are from £50 up basically UK prices. It is probably best if you go for the all inclusive package. I have spent way more than expected whilst there. Very expensive, it was worth it however if you are on a tight budget keep this in mind. I can happily say it is one of the best places still.

It was horrible -terrible service. Never experienced such a bad hotel in Mauritius. Will never recommend the hotel to anyone.

This hotel has been left to ruin my the current management. They do the bare minimum and you can see the hotel is declining. The first night we arrived when I put my sleeping child into his bed the bed broke. Upon inspection I found that the leg was broken and whoever repaired it did a bad job. The next day they gave us a new bed but we found it had bed bugs in it. The first night we heard dogs barking outside our room and when I looked out of the window we found two stray dogs sleeping on the veranda. We informed management but no one came, I chased them away myself. This happened the next two days until the dogs did not return again. They used to leave a mess of mud and hair on the outdoor furniture so we couldn't use it. Once the dogs were gone we found that the veranda was full of mice. The other issue is the snorkel and glass bottom boats go out twice a day and have very few places so unless you book early and in advance you wont get a chance. In a hotel with 180+ rooms to have space for 8 people per boat When making the booking I requested to pay on check-in however the hotel still charged my card. When I asked for it to be reversed so I could pay cash at first they refused and said that I had not informed them until I showed them the email I sent telling them. They finally agreed but took over a week until the charge was reversed, I could not use my credit card the entire trip and so could not hire car. I did not even receive an apology from the hotel.

Just one night but everything was fine! Nice space. Nice facilities.

The hotel was in a good location. The beach is fantastic and there are a wide variety of activities to do. The nearby towns of Belle Mare and Central Flacq offered good opportunities for local shopping. The food in the hotel was good, although I am not sure I received full benefit of the All Inclusive Plus package. The problem was that the Dine Around option required pre booking at least 24 hours in advance, which I did not fully understand. In addition, some of the meals were still added cost on top of that. Breakfast was always as expected. The Saturday Creole BBQ was fully booked when we arrived on Saturday afternoon - our earlier attempts to book this prior to arrival via email was not successful. The room was very nice and comfortable. Service from the staff was excellent always. I would recommend this hotel to friends, with the explanation regarding the AIP option.

Very pleasant and comfortable stay. Very safe area. Highly trained and helpful staff. Great breakfast with nice restaurants . Variety of beach activities and a clean swimming pool.

Had a great time at Maritim Crystals.....many on the house sea activities - Glass bottom boat, Snorkeling, kayaking, stand up paddles, etc...2 pools including a warm water pool.....very warm staff.....Taxi service is reasonably priced....good activities for kids...lively atmosphere and music.....reasonably spacious rooms.......icing on the cake is the white sand beach and turquoise waters.....!!! Just an advise is if you are carrying Food in the rooms, the ants may have a field day ( which was of course taken care of by replants)...would definitely recommend for the price, location, beach and the hotel itself!!!

We enjoyed the hotel which started with an upgrade to a sea view suite! The room had everything you would expect and a good size. The staff were very friendly and always asking if we happy and concerned about any possible problems.

Rooms not clean

Arrived outside Mauritius airport around 06:30 for our hotel pickup, it appears that its a normal taxi service and also has a contract with the hotel as a hotel shuttle service that cost 2,500 RUP. I manage to haggle for 1,300 RUP. Only waited around 1hour 3omins at the hotel reception before they can offer us a room. Lucky there were comfortable seatings so my son of 3 years could sleep. Apart from getting a small Electric shock from switching on the bed lamp on the first night and the hotel housekeeping laughting about it, everything else was good. Everywhere you go, you will need to use a taxi. Lucky that you can always haggle with the taxi drivers and grab a very good deal using him for the whole day.

We were asked to move our car three times on arrival in the large, empty carpark as apparently one area was saved for taxis, another for staff and a third for a wedding. Every evening they changed their minds as to which of the empty slots was OK to stay in. Check-in was poor as we were left in the bar areas without a drink for 20 minutes not knowing what was happening. The first room we were moved to was next to a fence to a public areas with really loud music playing so we had to ask to be moved. Food was average at best and, where not included, very overpriced compared to much better restaurants across the island. Drinks were expensive (150 Rs for 1 litre of water) but it was not permitted to bring your own. The advertised wi-fi was only in the bar area. It 'worked' about 25% of the time and even then was intermittent and only 0.1Mbps (slow!). The advertised satellite TV was three local and very poor channels which were unwatchable.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel paradisiaque, le personnel est super l’endroit est magique, le club enfants est top avec le parc aquatique, bref si on peut on y retourne.

Väldigt trevligt hotell med perfektläge på underbar strand som behöver förbättra städningen.Service får toppbetyg och all ära till Adisch,Avishyer och alla andra som förgyllade vår semester.
