I arrived at 10pm, but due to strikes, I had to spend the night in a hotel and decided to stay at Intercity, as I had been there before. A nice gentleman checked me in and helped take my bags upstairs. I said my boyfriend would try to get through in the middle of the night after the road cleared from the strike. He put my boyfriend’s name on the back of the registration card and said he would be given a key. When I realized there was no refrigerator in my room, I told the man I had brought seafood empanadas from New York and didn’t want them to get ruined. He said they could be stored in the employee lounge fridge. He put my room number of 408 on the bag. The next morning, my boyfriend called me to say the woman at the front desk wouldn’t let him up and that she was too busy to talk to me through his phone and to call her directly through what’s app, since there were no phones in the room. I decided not to go down to get my boyfriend, but rather check out. I went downstairs and asked the woman where my registration card was, she showed it to me. I pointed to where my boyfriend’s name had been written and asked why she wouldn’t let him up. She said she wasn’t told. Then, I requested my bag of food. She couldn’t find it and asked what it looked like, I said, “green plastic bag with “408” written.” She confessed to letting other guests in the employee lounge to get “their” items and must have taken mine too! $103 of food was stolen! The woman is Udia Solota and should be fired!

The lobby has no air conditioning neither the hallways. The staff was friendly and efficient. For the size of the hotel you expect at least some vending machine, there was none.

I travelled with a toddler and it was tough to not have access to a phone, microwave or refrigerator. Definitely a challenge to stay here if you plan to bring infants and toddlers. I couldn’t purchase milk for my daughter to drink at night since it would go bad. The cooks, the ladies at the front desk and the cleaners were super sweet. There was a gentleman at the front desk who was not friendly and did not care to offer customer service. When we asked him questions he would answer with one worded answers and go back to looking at his phone. He even charged us for water even though the ladies said you get 1 bottle of water for free every day. I confirmed at check out that he should have never charged us. We loved that the parking garage was secure, the pool was clean, the hotel felt safe, the convenience of the coffee shop downstairs and the breakfast was all amazing. The employees at the coffee shop ended up memorizing my order after the first time I arrived. They were amazing! I would say if they offered assistance to those who bring kids, I would have given 5 stars. It made sense why I never saw a toddler or baby at the hotel during my 6-day-stay. Perfect for adults but not for kids.
