Hotel is ok, nice but service is terrible. I have been using hotel shuttle to go to and from work - it took them a while to respond and their 5 minutes many times happened to be even up to 35 mintues of waiting for a pickup. Price for shuttle transfer depends on who is working?! I found out on the final bill and asked at reception where response was - sorry sir, you already paid, if you would tell us before we would fix that?! Room service took 45 minutes and brought wrong order, restaurant food very very low quality and hotel prices very high in comparison to restaurants in the city. Definitely not worth to stay here, you have better choice.

The hotel's prime location and clean rooms were definite highlights. Most staff members were friendly and welcoming. However, our experience was soured by a security guard's unnecessarily harsh behavior. When we attempted to take the elevator from the garage where our vehicle was parked, he became confrontational and insisted we use the main entrance. His tone was unprofessional, and the encounter felt strange and unwarranted. While the manager's apology and resolution were appreciated, the guard's behavior left a lasting impression. With some customer service training for staff, this hotel could easily elevate its game. For now, it's a solid "average" – a good location and decent amenities, but inconsistent service.

Our stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Addis Ababa was wonderful. Everyone and everything was so lovely. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The restaurant and cafe...top notch food and service. I would definitely return.

I enjoyed my stay at the Radisson, and will certainly return when I return to Addis Ababa for work. In particular, I highly rate the restaurant/cafe/room service and the spa and gym. I returned to the spa three times in a short stay! Very professional service. My only disappointment was around the shuttle service. First, my booking on Expedia very clearly states that it includes “free round trip shuttle” between the hotel and airport. After booking, and when I was booking the shuttle, I was told that it cost 700 ETB each way. I pointed out the contradiction with my booking, but accepted it since I was arriving late. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I waited 20-30 minutes in the cold next to the bus. When I finally got to the hotel, I definitely paid the front desk 800 ETB in cash. I believe that I received a receipt but didn’t keep it. So I was surprised to see the cost of the shuttle on my bill at the end of my stay. So I had to pay twice for a service that was supposed to be free. Unfortunately, due to other challenges with the payment at the end of my stay, I missed the return shuttle. I was able to order a taxi through an app for 200 ETB. Definitely an option to consider next time. Otherwise, I highly rate my stay and will return. I hope these issues can be addressed next time.
