The room was mosquito infested. The hotel is across the road from the beach, not on the beach as marketed. Staff was fine.

This hotel was in a great location for the beach and Oistins shops and bars, the breakfast was also very good, there was some road noise from passing cars and buses using their horns

They gave me a ground floor room because of my disability! This was very helpful.

Room was comfortable. Old building but bed, aircon, warm shower, tv all good. Very noisy becaise the room was near the road, but once I wore earplugs that problem was solved. Excellent check-in and cleaning staff! No elevator.

Hotel is a well kept, decent hotel and the beach is right across the road. There is a restaurant on site but there is a kitchenette in the room. Would have been nice to have instant coffee in the room.

I came to the Golden sands for my husbands birthday weekend and our stay there was superb from start to finish. The staff were very accommodating esp Mechelle who helped me coordinate with decorators to set up the room for my husbands birthday surprise as well as throwing in a complimentary birthday breakfast and bottle of wine in there. The food at the restaurant attached to the hotel was also spectacular. We very much enjoyed the breadfruit coocoo with king fish as well as pudding and souse. The rooms were clean and equipt with all we needed and the location was awesome situated right across from beach and a short walk to the oistins fish fry. I highly recommend the Golden Sands hotel

My mom was going to stay for a week, due to my grandpa passing away (mom's dad) a day before the trip, I was urging on changing the dates, the hotels team could not get the change because the hotel never responded. That has never ever happen before, and nobody stayed and they charged me the entire week.

As previous reviews have stated, the Hotel is tired and in need of an update. The staff were friendly and the room cleaned with fresh towels daily. The location for the beach perfect. The food in the restaurant was very good however there was no atmosphere and not many customers probably due to the attitude of the waiting staff. We would stay here again.

The hotel was clean and staff friendly, the restaurant food and service was quite good. Great location between Oistins and Dover, cute beach across the street.
