I had a mostly excellent stay at this centrally located hotel. The room was clean and the A/C worked well. The staff were super helpful, especially the concierge, who arranged some activities. I was met at the airport with a sign and brought to the hotel without problems. The gym is pretty poor and needs some updates. I was permitted to use the pool without charge at the companion hotel. The only big problem was my check out and departure. I booked a return shuttle to the airport on the day I arrived. It was confirmed two hours and an hour before I needed it. But then it didn't show up. I started to panic, and got in a private vehicle that drove me part of the way to where the shuttle was waiting. It was very stressful. I made my flight with no problem, but this should not have happened.

The staff were helpful and allowed early check-in as well as late check-out. Great location with plenty of shops and restaurants around. But services need a lot if improvement. The porch had been cordened off to keep unauthorised vehicles away but there was no one let the authorised vehicles in. No one even offered to helped with luggage even thought there were 6-7 steps to climb. Seems like they have only one set of towels as the uaed ones were taken away at 8.30am and were not replaced before 3 pm. Not even a hand towel. The taps not working properly. Hardly any water in the wash basin and difficult to direct water to the shower in the bath tub. Overall, a lot needs to improve.

The stay was pleasant. I could tell it was an older hotel that could benefit a remodel.

A property of such status could not even arrange my transport to the airport and I had to pay myself because at the agreed time is when the soncalled manager was trying to call a drivernwho clearly sounded drunk. You think they would have the courtesy to pay the taxi you are mistaken. They music played in the neighbourhood is criminally loud.

The staff was SOOO friendly and accommodating. Since i was the only American there everyone new my name :-)! I had an issue with my air conditioning and I was promptly moved to another room. I was also granted a late check out due to my late flight. I will stay there on my next visit and convince my colleagues to do the same!

We had two nights at Creata President. The location is great for a stay in Gaborone, and there are some nice restaurants within easy reach. Lovely and relaxed, also suitable for business. Food is fine, too. Recommended for your stay in Gaborone. I’d stay again.

Stayed at Cresta President on short business trip to Gaborone. I was a bit worried initially when we pulled up, as the entrance to the hotel didn’t look at all like the photos online but was pleasantly surprised once I got inside and was taken to my room. It’s an oldish hotel, that backs onto a busy market square area so was quite noisy for my first night, but requested a change for the second night and all was fine. Hotel food & service was perfectly fine for a three star hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at Cresta President! The staff was extremely courtesy and professional. The room was very comfortable. The hotel is just a tad dated and could use a touch of renovation, but it’s still in quite good condition. CP is conveniently located in the heart of town on the Main Mall so there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Gabarone is an incredibly clean and safe city with wonderfully friendly residents. I would stay here again.

I stayed one night (Monday) and had arranged a business meeting in my room in the evening which required room service for 5. Although the staff good, the quality of food was very poor. I ordered 3 beef burgers, to be told they had no burger buns! Within 30 metres of the hotel is a very large supermarket but no initiative shown to go and buy some. When the meals were change, we ordered mash potato only to be told there are no potatoes, except for fries, which come from the deep freeze. Ordered apple crumble but was given a chocolate gateau because no crumble available. Spoke to the night duty manager who agreed with me that it was appalling. promised to be in contact. When I checked out in the morning, the chef asked to talk to me to find out what the problem was. Their attitude was to avoid me making complaints to Expedia rather than being proactive. All the facilities were empty. I was in the bar for a couple of hours and was only customer. They have happy hour on Thursday and Friday and barman said they sometimes had no customers at all. A sign of total incompetence on management side.

The location is what makes the hotel. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel bar is a great location to unwind. There are may excellent restaurants in the area, along with shopping.

Lovely couple of days here, starting in a room overlooking the square, but there was a music event on in the square, so I asked to move, and staff were very obliging, got a much quieter room (someone else might have enjoyed the front row view of the event from their room!). Staff were all professional and helpful, from the restaurant staff to the shuttle drivers, and the room was good - clean, good shower, and good wifi.

The President Hotel is a nice place to stay if your are interested in spending time in the historical main mall or planning to visit the older sections of Gaborone. The service was very good, the room was spacious and clean, and the Restaurant Bar area was convenient with good food and drink.
