Excellent way to spend my wife's 50th BDay

Loved the beaches

The staff were amazing and professional. The food was delicious everywhere we went. Only wish is that they played more Reggae music since we were in Jamaica.

A very upscale all-inclusive with wonderfully helpful and attentive staff. Formal dining was excellent but casual dining needs some improvement. Rooms are spacious clean and quality however the mini bar is ridiculously rationed

This property was excellent. The food was good and service was excellent. Room was cleaned daily. The only downside is that it’s too quiet. Tooo quiet… There is no night life after 10pm. Everything shuts down after that. When people are on vacation they like the night life. Would stay here again when I’m in my 60’s… This place is for older people. They also don’t celebrate anniversaries, bdays or honeymooners.. no door decorations so if you’re celebrating a special occasion bring your own decor. This place cost too much not to have fun and enjoy your vacay. Also, we had a swim out and you couldn’t get in your private pool after 8pm. That needs to change. There should not be a time on when you can swim in your own private pool that you paid for.

Amazon Resort, expensive but well worth the value.

The resort and its facilities are amazing , the food is very good but it's taking so long to get served like u have to wait for at least 40-45 minutes for your main course to get served . The beach server Alex on excellence side is a joke , told us there's no food coz the kitchen shutdown and it's getting fixed .. didn't give us an option , it's a resort ! If one kitchen breaks there's over 8 restaurants for sure there's a way! Didn't even give us our drinks after we wanted 45 minutes ! Diana at magna restaurant is one of the best server! Rodney at bar excellence was amazing ! Sasha from lobster houses is very good as well ! Concierge at excellence are so so .. we had an issue with a leaking fridge .. no turn down service for two nights , rooms smelled like mildew , had to talk to the higher management to address the issues . After they moved us to a different room , every time u see them on the club lounge these concierge people don't even greet you or say hi they look away and pretending they don't see you ! The activities and entertainment is horrible compared to other excellence resorts . It's a joke ! Good thing the resort is fabulously situated by the beach that it takes away the boring part of having activities ! The nightly shows are sooooo bad and boring ! We've been going to excellence and finest for 12 years and by far this is the worse resort for entertainment and night shows and activities .

We had a fantastic honeymoon here! My only complaint would be that the Excellence club didn’t provide hardly any extra value. The Excellence club exclusive restaurants were the worst ones, with the longest wait times for food.

Loved loved loved will return in the near future excellent food and friendly staff!!

The property was BEAUTIFUL. Not only was it visually appealing but the grounds are well kept and maintained. We were in a room that allowed easy access to all of the restaurants, pool and the beach. My husband loved it. We will be back!

Our stay at the Excellence was truly amazing. 10/10 would recommend. Great good, great staff, beautiful property. Quiet and peaceful yet entertainment is available if that’s your thing. Can’t wait to go back!

It was nice and relaxing.

By far the best, well equipped fitness center I’ve come across in my travels. The property, as a whole, was very luxurious and the staff so friendly and accommodating.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Excellence Oyster Bay from Saturday, April 12 to Saturday, April 19. While the resort grounds were beautiful and the waitstaff and bartenders were exceptional, we experienced a deeply troubling and traumatic incident that we feel compelled to share. At approximately 1 AM on April 16, we woke up to a strong electrical/fire smell and discovered our room was filled with smoke. Power had gone out in the entire room except the closet, and we immediately evacuated. Once outside, we realized the third floor above us was on fire. We heard two women screaming for help from their balcony — trapped and terrified. Alarming as it was, no fire alarms were sounding. We attempted to pull the alarm outside our room, but it didn’t work. My boyfriend ran to the main lobby for help and returned with staff who grabbed a hose and went toward the source of the fire. Still, there was no coordinated response or sense of urgency. The screaming from the trapped girls stopped, and realizing they hadn't been rescued, my boyfriend ran upstairs. He found the staff using the hose in a neighboring room — not the one where the women were trapped. He personally helped get the girls out, as no one else had taken action. At no point were other guests in the building alerted. Rooms were smoky, and many of us had endured long periods of smoke inhalation. We went to the lobby seeking next steps and were told to return to our rooms and pack.
