Rooms clean, staff friendly, good service and always with a smile. Never seems crowded and always sunbeds etc available. Not much for kids to do although we don’t have kids I would say this is more of an adults destination in general. We stayed after doing safari in Kenya and paid less than those booking a package and then doing day safaris to mainland. So booking separately works out better all round. Beach is tidal and a walk on the reef with a local is well worth it discuss a price or give $10-$20 and I guarantee you will see more than walking alone

We loved this stay. Perfectly clean, well maintained, excellent food, very friendly staff. We spent more time at the quieter mama pawpaw pool. A wonderful stay and we'd love to come back.

Really nice hotel with amazing staff and beautiful surroundings. Choice of food was a little bit limited compare to other hotels we stayed in but everyting they cooked was very tasty.Best food I ever had in all inclusive hotel.

The local team consistently provided exceptional and amiable service. The hotel's service was outstanding, ranking among the best I have encountered as a traveler. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr Rajiv for his assistance with a minor injury that got my child, and to Madame Marie, the director, for her support.

All the things were amazing. Only two things could be better. The entertainment team could be more proactive inviting us for the activities (we are on vacation, so we don’t look at a schedule) and going walk to the beach was almost always a bad experience, there were a lot of guys trying to sell things, following us and disturbing. I know that this is not a matter of the hotel, but it decreases our experience in Zanzibar.

I was pleasantly surprised with this resort. The food at lunch at the beach bar was very good. The room was beautiful and huge. The only thing that was a little lacking was snacks between meals and the fact that it is a little remote but overall everything was great.

Room was lovely. Food was amazing and so much choice. Entertainment was very varied and suitable for everyone. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Never felt too busy throughout the hotel so no struggles to get sunbeds or anything

Spotless wonderful staff amazing food and location

After reading so many excellent reviews we had high expectations for this hotel unfortunately for us it didn't quite reach the mark. Pro's - smooth & quick check-in (after a pre-check in via email) - App is helpful to see what's happening/bookings etc - Hotel grounds/ facilities well maintained & clean - friendly Staff - Clean & tidy room - beautiful setting - Taste of Asia recommended for lunch - Excursions are worth booking available through hotel (we did Jozani Forest/Stone Town) We also did Cheetahs Rock (booked directly with facility for this one) highly recommended con's - Restaurant food for lunch/dinner is very similar and can get boring - Bookable restaurants not always available (book in advance) - We found the lunch food on offer far better than dinner - no bar snacks when having a drink - nuts/crisp etc - this would have been a nice touch - Turn downs were hit and miss - sometimes it happened others not - not what we expected for a premium room - especially when there was limited water to drink in the room when the turn down was missed - sometimes really early as well 5pm -lots of extra charges - all inclusive isn't all inclusive (some cocktails /drinks are extra along with 1 of the restaurants) Overall we enjoyed our stay but didn't feel like it was 5-star.
