We enjoyed our stay at Grace Bay Suites. The property is behind Danny Buoys restaurant, so you must trek behind a parking lot to get to the hotel entrance. We enjoyed the pool and the room was clean and had many great amenities like an iron, hair dryer, coffee, and soaps in the shower (though they were not labeled, so we were unsure which was shampoo vs conditioner vs body wash lol). The staff was attentive, though one concierge was always distracted by her phone, therefore unwilling to answer questions or book tours for us when we asked. Overall, great location for the beach and restaurants with a feeling of safety as a female traveler, and a good price too for the area. Thanks for making our trip comfortable!

Appearance of Entrance area could be improved as well as tv operation instructions. Air conditioning did not seem to be operational, but the fan was excellent.

The air conditioning did not cool off the room at night. The fan did not work most of the time. The maintenance person pulled the chain to turn on the fan and looked at us like we were idiots. Except the fan shut off by itself 10 minutes after he left and we could not turn it back on. In spite of our request, he never came back to fix it. The room was too hot to sleep through the night. We were forced to leave the terrace door open the last night to make it tolerable, this was probably the worst hotel experience I have had in the last 20 years.

I enjoyed my stay here because it was close to everything. However, when i checked in the room does have a slightly mildew/mold smell, the cleanness was great (including the table and chairs outside) the curtains had holes in them and on my last night I noticed some type of fuzzy caterpillar crawling around in the bedroom area. Nonetheless, I would stay here again especially for the price I paid for 4 nights($1,476) the beach area w/chairs and umbrellas that hotel provides across the street (no restaurants or bar) and definitely for the location. I only used the breakfast voucher at the island restaurant and I only got the yogurt bowl, which was good. Also, as a solo female traveler I felt very safe and I was on the ground floor in room 102. I had a driver that transport me to further places.

The hotel had great hospitality. The lady at the front desk was extremely polite and responded quickly if anything was needed. The hotel looks old from the outside, but the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hotel was right across from the beach, with easy access. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Breakfast spots had great food with plenty of options to choose. You might have to pay additional after the voucher they give, but still was good on pricing to me. It was very convenient for our stay and we loved it.

My daughter and I really enjoyed Grace Bay Suites. Here is my honest review. I hope it helps others as I wanted somewhere safe, family friendly and in an area that I did not need a car. This was perfect! The staff at the front desk was amazing, very helpful. Plenty of beach/pool towels. Let us borrow umbrellas which was so helpful! You have to walk across the street and past a few stores to get to the beach access. Maybe a 5 minute walk. Well worth it. The beach is gorgeous (besides the trash pile at the entryway to the path). Water is clear and wasn’t crowded, sun loungers just for our hotel area, water sports pulled right up for parasailing or tubing. We did not rent a car nor did we need one. We could walk to many different restaurants, stores to buy snacks, tees and sweats and the pup place to visit the adoptable pups We had 3 choices for breakfast each morning with our $10 vouchers per person. Very happy with our choices. Our room had some cosmetic items but we wanted a clean/quiet room to sleep and it was. Housekeeping came daily. I was on the balcony once and the floor was still damp when I went in, beds were always re-made, trash emptied and fresh towels daily. I heard outside noise for a little one night but other than that, I found it quiet and relaxing. Would I stay here again? Yes I definitely would.

I was very impressed with the hotel, the room I stayed was a 2 bedroom with pool view. Very spacious, cleaning service on point. They have vouchers for breakfast from 10 to 15 dollars per person depending on the restaurant. The beach access is easy and walkable, they have chairs and umbrellas for the guests, they provide towels. Only thing is that they don’t have a guest elevator, but not the worst thing as the stairs are easy to go up and down. Pool is clean. For being an affordable option it meet more than my expectations.

Price is good, room was clean, bed was very comfortable, breakfast vouchers were good and the staff was professional and friendly. Curb appeal not so good, hotel entrance is in back of bar/restaurant. Great thing is that it is across the street from the beach and walkable to restaurants, casino and market.

Definitely would recommend and stay here again!

I must say location location location. This is right in the heart of things! And 2 min walk to beach with chairs and umbrella waitng for you. When i frist checked in i noticed there was a couple mosquitoes in the room. So i got rid of them. However than i noticed there was alot more. I told front desk whom is very kind. She told the maintenence guy whom came up and sprayed the room. Later that night i go woken up by buzzing in my ear and it was mosquitoes. The next moring I noticed alot more. I smashed it on the bed it was all red from my blood. Than i noticed that the light in the shower didnt work. I notified front desk they sent the helpful maintenance person he sprayed agian. And it yet it did seem do anything. They offered me a different room. Which was great. But the AC unit was frozen or had ice and it was leaking water creating bubbles on the wall behind the paint. The maintenance guy fixed and cleaned it. Overall its a nice hotel. The breakfast vouchers is great perk! Shays cafe is great. Coming from a background in construction I think quality in the remodel is not as good as I thought it would be considering how much i paid. Also its behind a restaurant which is kind of nosey at night and stays open late. Great workers.
