Pros: good location, neighboring restaurant / eating options, IHG rewards program participating hotel. Cons: bad pipes, clogged toilet, limited parking space, can’t order only drinks for room service; food is obliged in order to get drinks, terrible towels; cheapest looking ones.

Very nice hotel

I love staying here but sadly the rooms in front of mine were being renovated. You could hear the worker’s chatter and them working. The noise was being done during the day at least.

I love this hotel in Tegucigalpa. Rooms are clean and spacious. Internet is fast. It’s within a small plaza that has many eating options. It’s a short and safe 5-7 min walk to Multiplaza (the main shopping mall in the city). Overall this is my ho-to hotel in Tegucigalpa.

Very friendly staff, safe and well located property.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, and while the experience had its highlights, there were significant concerns during my visit. The room seemed okay at first, but my niece, who has seasonal allergies and sensitivities to dust and pollen, began sneezing uncontrollably. Initially, I thought it was her pre-existing condition. However, hours later, I experienced sneezing and developed a rash, which made me suspect that the room had not been properly vacuumed or cleaned. The atmosphere felt dusty, and this was quite discomforting. The bathroom shower curtain has tons of black mold stains, yellow ones too on the outside. The bathroom tile was also moldy (black) Additionally, my niece left a hoodie in the room, but unfortunately, it was not found or returned yet which is disappointing. On a positive note, the breakfast the next morning was excellent and truly appreciated. This was the redeeming factor of our stay and the main reason I gave a 3-star rating instead of a 1. I hope the management takes note of these issues, as they could greatly improve the overall guest experience.
