Room was nice. We couldn't walk around the area due to storm Amy and gale force winds. Enjoyed the breakfast, lots of choices.

Sadly they put me in a room above the ballroom where there was a very noise event/music/band playing. And on Monday I wake up to banging noise on the roof as they were fixing the roof.

When we were checking out we asked the receptionist where we could buy a new umbrella nearby. She went and got us one from their lost & found collection, saying “people leave umbrellas behind in their rooms all of the time”. She saved us time and money AND saved the planet some landfill space by recycling a perfectly good umbrella! Our room was perfect, the hotel was quiet, our breakfast and dinner were very good and the hotel was within walking distance to a local pub with an “open” session where my wife filled a bucket list dream of playing in a session in Ireland!

We were exhausted after several days of driving and sight seeing and needed a peaceful place for a couple of days. The ocean view room was perfect for us. It allowed us to enjoy a time of rest and beauty.

Parking was convenient & safe

Great location. Parking can be an issue - though there is a large area at the back of tge hotel, if you don't mind the walk.

Selected a sea view room and was lovely to be able to sit and look out over the ocean. Staff were friendly and efficient

Nice size room, clean, comfortable beds and a wonderful breakfast. Great music and drinks too. Great location.

We informed reception quickly after arrival that we had no hot water. After an hour and another visit to reception a nice guy was sent to confirm that we had no hot water. After booking an upgraded room we had to shower in cold water. The water was hot. To be fair the next morning I asked for some concession which was given by the lady on reception who was excellent on check in and check out. We also had contact with bar staff, and housekeeping who were all brilliant. However we ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The staff were soulless. Whilst efficient not one smile and my wife and I both noted , no eye contact. We felt they wanted us in and out asap.

Wine n staff were A+++!

Allingham Arms is one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in on our trip. Immaculately clean, charming, and a great bar. But what sets it apart from all others in Bundoran (and most on the west coast) are the views of the Wild Atlantic
