Friendly staff. Loved the hot tub on the roof! Free parking anywhere in town. Roads are narrow, but you can park right outside the building if you can get there.

Restored traditional house with very spacious and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The attention and service by the staff was exceptional. Only challenge was parking, very limited due to the nature of the location and dynamics of the town.

Alte Tradition is a beautiful property in the middle of Alte village. The rooms are beautifully designed each with its own special touch of theme through the medium of soft furnishings. Impeccably clean, everything really modern whilst retaining cultural identity. We were the only guests on the night we stayed. It felt very exclusive and were made to feel really at home. The hot tub on the roof really was the highlight, nice and warm and ready to go. We used it under the stars for a couple of hours surrounded by peace and fresh mountain air. In the morning a lovely breakfast was served in buffet style. Lovely spread and quality local produce. Staff were friendly and very efficient. If we ever head back that way we will definitely stay again. Alte village is not exactly set up for tourists staying overnight, it’s more for day trippers. We enjoyed interacting with the locals as much as we could. The hotel has other properties which we would be keen to try out in the future.

We loved our stay at the Alte Tradition Guest House. The staff were all lovely and breakfast was great too! They even catered for us by getting gluten free bread for my GF who is a celiac. Unfortunately due to no fault of their own there is construction right outside and it was loud and dusty which dampened our ability to stay there throughout the day to relax in what is a small but ok pool, and a nice hot tub. There aren’t too many options to eat around the area but there are local supermarkets and ample parking five minutes walk down the road instead of having to navigate the small streets of the town. Overall I’d give the property 5/5 stars but only 2/5 for the surrounding area which is a shame. That being said, if you have transport it’s a great location to explore, with around a 25/30 min drive to the airport and beaches.

The guesthouse is located on narrow cobblestone streets. We had to park about 100 meters out on the Main Street. The room is very clean and modern. They serve a wonderful breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.

Fantastic room, though no tea or coffee making facilities and in our case, no glasses or cups, but that was an oversight, everything else was immaculate. Alte is a really nice town for a visit

A very modern well designed guest house. The room and bathroom are very comfortable. Easy to park outside. Walking distance to places. The rooftop has great views, especially for sunset or stars. Staff is helpful and has good breakfast.

Phantastic host (Rita), sustainably built hotel, wonderful stay

The property has just opened. The girls at the reception will go the extra (s)mile to make your stay even more comfortable. Breakfast, for example, is served later than my exit, however, they offered to prepare this in advance, even without asking.

Propere ruime kamer, lekker ontbijt. Zalige rooftop met jacuzzi. Goed gelegen.

Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstücksbuffet top, jederzeit gerne wieder.
