Friendly staff, close to attractions, quiet and clean rooms. Very potent fragrances from cleaning products that was impossible to air-out of the room. Very gross hot tub with green water. Excellent views. The street outside the hotel was unpaved and foot traffic only. Graffiti, empty lots and abandoned buildings. Warm welcome from staff.

Great location in old town which is shabby-chic area. Yes, there are a lot of outdoor stairs to the suites but it’s a great way to keep up with your exercise! Lisbon itself is full of hills so be aware of this before going :) The staff at Castello are super nice & helpful. We loved our suite - very clean, bed was comfortable, so nice to be able to eat in when you want in the comfort of your pjs ;) Breakfast was included and was plentiful. We felt safe in the neighborhood and things you may see (drinking in the street, occasional individual getting high) happens in every country! Very nice property within walking distance of many key sights that Lisbon has to offer. Not the easiest to get to, but the amazing view and friendly staff make it worth it!

What a view at this hotel! We had a great stay, very close to the first stop on the famous tram. Need to go up steps to get there. Very clean and everyone was so nice!

This property is amazing and has great views! Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious! The only problem were lots of stairs to get up to the property from street however once you get to the property, it definitely makes up for it!

A lovely apartment with the added bonus of a really great continental breakfast each morning with fabulous views! And a spa pool & sauna too! Be prepared for steps & look out for the beautiful little restaurants close by!

Firstly, the good points… beautiful views from the side we were on, breakfast was nice, staff were nice and helpful. The bad points.. unfortunately, we had a few issues during our stay; the jacuzzi was cold, shower water was also freezing cold on a few occasions, dirty damaged blinds. The noise was terrible, whenever people sat out on the terrace, we could hear conversations word for word from our room, with all doors and windows closed. Also, on numerous occasions we could hear other guests having sex, using the toilet and their bathroom fan. I didn’t get a single full night sleep, as the noise was that bad that I’d be woken up through the night. Great location because of the views, close to the castle etc. however, I would feel very unsafe walking around nearby on my own on an evening. Also huge flights of stairs leading up to it.

Marcos was an amazing host. We feel very welcomed. You get free breakfast and free all day coffee/tea. Super great. The room is very nice with modern equipment. Would come back here.

We loved waking up every morning we were there to a splendid view of Lisbon. The unit was very clean and well-equipped and very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We genuinely enjoyed our stay. The hotel is fairly close the Baixa and the metro, however, there is no vehicular access to the hotel and a fair number of stairs to get there. Pack light! (we didn't) and consider it as a built-in stairmaster.

We really enjoyed our stay at Castello Prime Suites. The view from the deck is truly beautiful, and it was a pleasant surprise to find that the neighborhood is tucked away from the noise and bustle of the city—although it was still in walking distance from many great restaurants, historical attractions, and views of the river. The staff were welcoming, accommodating, and professional, our room was clean and stocked with amenities, the breakfast was delicious, and the cold jacuzzi pool was refreshing after long, hot days of walking around. All around, we had a very pleasant stay!

This is a lovely hotel. When you walk into the entrance you immediately have an amazing view of the city from the open air lounge. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful and had a nice variety of foods. The appartement was lovely and very clean. We would definitely return! Our only problem was with Expedia. They listed the room as big enough for four people. There is only sleeping space for three. At reception, they explained this to us and offered us the opportunity to see the space and try to figure out a solution. We had no where else to go, so we made do. Expedia needs to make this clear.
