Super clean. Great service

Great little hotel near the water. Been there twice now. If I’m ever in Sarnia we’ll stay again!

This place was great and the location was perfect. My only drawbacks were that parking wasn’t guaranteed and the washrooms are quite small .

The front desk staff were very polite although it took us 4 tries to get to our room.. the first time he gave us the wrong room number , the other 2 times the key card wouldn work... The 4th try he came up with us to make sure we got in ok. We were given free breakfast vouchers as we were also visiting for my birthday... Unfortunately we were unable to use them as there was almost an hour wait for breakfast in the morning and we had a few hour drive home. The hotel was very clean. We used the sauna, pool and spa. They were very well kept. The location was perfect. We walked for dinner and drinks and down to the water. The parking wasn't an issue either even though it was extremely busy. I would consider staying here again.

We have stayed at this hotel several Times and really love the experience. Our only complaint would be that there is very little bathroom counter space for toiletries.

Stunning Hotel!

We were here for just one night but we really liked this hotel. The room was big (we had a king room) with a very comfortable bed and some of the best pillows we have ever had. We have stayed at some 5 star hotels and the pillows are so thin, lumpy or too hard. I do not know why these hotels do not invest in good pillows.These ones at the hotel were great! We liked the decor of the room. Had some character. Comfortable love seat sofa and big chair with foot stool. Extremely clean. Staff very nice at front desk and in restaurant. We ate dinner at the restaurant. The ambience its nice and you can sit out on the patio, where there are beautiful flowers. The food was very good. My dinner could have been a bit warmer. I should have asked them to heat it, but it still tasted delicious! Breakfast was very good and it was served hot. Would stay here again over the Hilton where I previously stayed when visiting Sarnia.

We had a lovely stay. It was close to the boat we went on a music cruise Saturday night. Our hotel room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. Our brunch at the hotel’s restaurant was incredible. Such a lovely patio to eat on, and fantastic food. Service was amazing for both the hotel and restaurant.

Hotel is ok. Asked for a crib but the one they provided was broken

We enjoyed a really lovely stay for 4 nights. The property has been beautifully restored, and the staff was very attentive and pleasant. The amenities were lovely - especially the pool, sauna, and gym. Because our room was on the small side, it would have been nice to sit in the bar/lounge off of the lobby to eat or to have a drink, but this area is currently closed. Also, the Drawbridge Room was locked and unusable - this may have been because they were experiencing some fob/controlled access issues while we were there. The mats in the gym were in rough condition and should be replaced - I was relieved to have my own yoga mat with me. Those issues were low level, however, and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel and service were very good but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

Great place to stay when you’re in Sarnia. Right down town so it’s close to lots of good restaurants.

The Insignia Hotel is the epitome of superior customer service excellence.. everything from the lovely furnishings, the toiletries, the delicious coffee, the ambiance but, most of all, the exceptional staff who are so warm, accommodating and gracious are why I love every stay and can’t wait to return! I have travelled extensively and this is, by far, my most favourite! That you can pass by the Lobby and they greet you by name is a customer skill that is impressive and so appreciated.

The property is very clean, quiet, and the restaurant was excellent.
