This hotel is right next to the red light district in Shinjuku. There was a coffee shop around the corner. We enjoyed our stay even though we didn’t know at first it was a Luv Hotel, meaning some rooms rent by the hour. Although the elevator smelled like cigarettes, our room had no odor of smoke in it. It was a large room, with a separate room with a large jetted tub. The jets didn’t work, but the soak was nice anyway. They cleaned the room wonderfully every day. We never actually met any of the staff face to face except for right when we checked in. She was nice and explained the drop off key procedure. They expect you to leave the key at the office when you leave the property. Other reviews complained about the hard bed, but ours was firm but not uncomfortable. We were in room 403 if that helps. Also, the hotel is next to Golden again, the area with tiny alleys and tiny bars. It’s very unique and fun. We went early so it wasn’t too crazy.

The information in the room was not always clear, especially about having the room clean. The front window not being able to seethe person you speak with makes communication difficult. The room itself was great.

My bf and i absolutely loved our stay! We had the superior room(i think?) and it was perfect! So spacious with the perfect shower and bath tub combo! We appreciated the robs and slippers that the room offered as well as the free waters and other items(for purchase). Stuff was very helpful and nice. Verrry convenient area. Every thing walking distance😍 will definitely be booking again!

THIS IS A “LOVE HOTEL” IN THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT!!!! Our stay here was not terrible, but had I known this, I would have selected a different hotel. I did read reviews before booking but I didn’t make this connection so I put it first in my review. The room was large and clean with nice amenities (fridge, hair dryer, free toiletries, etc.) The lobby is outdated and the outside is very run down. There was a large sign either advertising the costumes you could order or for the type of VERY young women you could order. I am genuinely not sure which. The staff we encountered was mostly pleasant. Check-in and out is designed for discretion due to the nature of most visits - so you can’t actually see the staff. The area around this hotel is definitely not an area we would want to stay in again, and not a great impression of Tokyo for our first visit. It is filthy! Trash and rats everywhere. It was close to a few coffee shops and within easy walking distance of the Golden Gai area but you walk through very seedy (happy-ending advertising) massage parlors to get into other areas. If that is what you are looking for in a hotel then this hotel will probably work well for you, but anyone booking this hotel should understand what it is.

I loved our stay here. The room was huge and had basically a whole spa in it. There was a huge jet tub that was so nice after all the walking. The area is fun, I now understand the adults only vibe and we loved it. Super convenient to walking everywhere and they have you leave your key with them which is great for someone like me so you don’t lose it. Highly highly recommend.

I will start by saying I was very hesitant staying in a love motel for my first trip to Japan but it was surprisingly pleasant. The staff was nothin short of great and helpful even letting us keep our bags there when we checked out since our flight wasn’t until 9:30 pm that night. The amenities were pretty sweet as it is hard finding a room this size anywhere Tokyo. The only knocks I will give it is the shower head holder was actually broken and we had to fasten it with a hair tie to hold it in place. The bed was also slightly uncomfortable but nothing crazy. The area around the property is very very busy which comes with goods and bads. The goods being that it is so close to everything and literally across the street from bars and clubs. But the bads being that it was a bit dirty around the outside. The noise wasn’t an issue being in a busy area. Overall I would stay here again as the price is good for the area and amenities and the staff genuinely seems like they want you to have a pleasant stay.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Ok, so it's very very unconventional. Heads up, it's a love hotel. The lobby isn't really a lobby, more of a discreet checkin for those looking to temporarily rent this place for a good time, not a long time. It smells like smoke, as you can smoke there. But my goodness. Once you get past that, the room is AMAZING! I've stayed everywhere in Tokyo from AirBnBs to the beautiful and expensive Cerulean Towers, to efficiency hotels to business hotels. Hotel D-Wave has been my favorite. It's the largest hotel room I've ever had. Completely private, marbled out, and is just insane. It had my own sauna, a giant whirlpool bathtub with aroma therapy supplies and bubbles and a tub TELEVISION! a shower, a separate toilet room (rare in Japan), and the room was MASSIVE! No closets but that's not an issue at all. There was a karaoke setup, tons of free current VOD movies, a 5.1 surround sound setup and you can blare it and nobody can hear you and you can't hear anyone else! Tons of high end ammenities and toiletries they restocked every day, and a fully stocked fridge where they charged you prices almost on par with the prices for drinks at 7-11. NO GOUGING! I love this place so much. I won't stay anywhere else. Also, location location! near 3 stations!
