Location

There is essentially no soundproofing in the windows, meaning you will hear everything on the busy avenue outside. If you don't mind a very loud room, then the hotel is otherwise clean, well appointed and friendly service. If loud noise will detract from your stay, best to book elsewhere.

Great hotel, the reception staff were great! The room was comfortable and clean. My only dislike was the staff by the pool, the waiters never came by, you had to chase them down. They only went up to you if you were blonde & blue eyed, sad to be a local & have this type of experience!

This is a beautiful and fairly new property. The location is right in the middle. Downtown is a 10 minute uber, the marina is 5 minutes away and there’s even a close by mall if that’s your vibe. Directly across is a grocery store which is great if you forget anything or if you want to peruse the local goodies! Highly recommend the breakfast at this hotel, the options were delicious and had a great variety. There is beach access through an adjacent all inclusive. The rooftop pool is wonderful! Book it!

Clean room, Friendly staff

Very clean room, very comfortable beds, good air conditioning, good water pressure, hot showers. Ear plugs are necessary to sleep as the hotel is located on main busy street in PV. It is true the pool is too hot and the hot tub is too hot. View is amazing. One major complaint was resolved to good satisfaction . The other complaint which was major too was not. The fridge was set on high, unaware of this, and fridges should not freeze. I put important medication in the fridge and it froze, Hotel did not take responsibility for the fridge freezing. I had to see a doctor to replace medication at a cost to see doctor and replace medication. I was very disappointed that not even partial responsibility taken by management.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mio. We ate at the outdoor pool area almost every night and enjoyed the music and margarita's. The coconut shrimp was my favorite! The Mio staff was exceptional! We plan to come back!

Spacious clean room with spectacular views. Private rooftop pool, however, day use patrons are allowed at pool. Convenient location, and quick access to beach if need be. Plenty of shops and food choices around hotel. Friendly and helpful staff at all services.
