More entertainment, more traditional food

The staff was extremely attentive and kind. The food was excellent plenty activities make you wanna stay longer

Some of the best restaurants we’ve experienced in an all inclusive. My only wish was that the beach was more accessible. Did not like the little lagoon areas as much as a beach

Integrated living and recreation areas is a definite plus. The ocean front view is wonderful. The staff is also amazing.

Beautiful resort! Everything exceeded expectations. The food was amazing the people friendly . However the halls could you use some carpet treatment because it smells mildew but the rooms are clean and very tidy ! The drinks were great easy access to airport with transport safe etc I would definitely recommend

The property was nice needs to be updated. If you like the beach you will need water shoes the rocks in the ocean are rough. Housekeeping only came to our room twice which was disappointing they seems to clean after 4 pm. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was very good for an all inclusive

The hotel stay was fabulous. The only concern was them not leaving face towels to bathe daily. Otherwise it is a beautiful property, clean and the service is very professional. They had good food, great entertainment, pool and bar areas!

ENTERTAINMENT WAS GREAT, JERK CHICKEN YUMMY, DRINKS FIRE VERY GOOD N POWERFUL, ROOM SERVICE STAFF AND CLEANING NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. FIRST ROOM OFFERED WAS OLD, CARPET IN HALLWAY WAS FILTHY AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, FOR WHAT THEY CHARGE WAS HORRIBLE. IT WAS ONE OF THE ROOMS WITH A SWIM-UP POOL. I WOULD NOT STAY AT THIS FACILITY AGAIN.

Staff are very friendly. The property is nice and the views are magnificent. However, if you’re looking for a party hotel this is not it. This is more for relaxation and down time. We enjoyed and will definitely be back.

Room was wonderful! Rodney and Elvis were wonderful bartenders near the pool/beach. One of the bellhops helped us out tremendously when our tour never picked us up. He was an older gentleman I think named cliff or chad. Something that started with a C.

We had previously stayed at the Hyatt Ziva in Cancun, and absolutely loved it. The Rose Hall location was nice, but definitely didn’t live up to our experience in Cancun. The Zilara buildings are in need of update/maintenance, but were generally clean and the AC worked well. The pools were clean and not overly crowded except for the swim up bar area - a birthday party seemed to occupy that section of the pool for several days. Sand on the beach was well maintained- seaweed was minimal and removed each morning; a little rocky in the water. Food was generally disappointing. Dinner menu at Urban Heat looked amazing but both meat and seafood were completely overcooked and underseasoned. Fuzion was the best option, and Petit Pariz and DeRosa were both decent. Highlights were the Sous Vide chicken, duck, and pad thai. The Jamaican food festival was also good with many options. Many of those items (fried fish, chicken, rice and beans) were also available at the Calypzo outdoor lunch buffet. Breakfast buffet at Choices was crowded with kids, so we chose Urban Heat most mornings which offered both a la carte and a small buffet. The Jerk hut had good chicken and pork. The Ziva coffee and piano bars were better than Zilara options. Food at Union Jack wasn't very good and service was slow. Activities were disappointing relative to Ziva Cancun. Very few options other than dancing, and most were not on schedule. Overall a decent resort with friendly staff, ut not likely to go back.

Great resort with delicious food

Nice hotel. Be ware they pressure you for personal information to sell timeshare for future properties. Limit your information and stand on business. Although they have other restaurants on sister property you must make a reservation for dinner every night or wait for room service that’s an additional fee. Most Staff are friendly but the security Women are not. Bring your bug spray too. Plenty of flies and mosquitoes. Property is well kept clean. Dj for pool area kept it live! Jerk hut snack hut was the best as well. Enjoy yourself

The propery is amazing, breathtaking views, wonderful staff, and too many activities to name. The integration of privacy and party is phenomenal and our butlers spoiled us!!!! The only negative is that our room was never cleaned until late in the day - often after 7PM, which wasn't a huge issue until we wanted to relax in the room after full days of activities and excursions.

The resort was beautiful and the food was great. The only issue I had was Expedia listed incorrect pics of the ocean view suite under the regular ocean view king so we were expecting the room to look like what was presented on Expedia. After that fiasco, we enjoyed our time there. But beware of false pics on Expedia, go to the website to confirm!
