Extremely remote (nearly a 3 hour bus ride from Kinegawa Onsen Train station into the winding mountains) which was both an adventure and unnerving. Made to feel like a foreigner with little help in understanding the cultural norms as a newcomer to the onsen experience. The in-suite onsen option was incredible, providing both privacy and ability to enjoy the experience as a newcomer free of the "ritual" imposed but not well explained for use of the public hot pools. Hatcho No Yu was ultimately a memory for a lifetime but came with a less than supportive interface with staff who treated us like we didnt belong.

初めて家族で行きました。 小さな子供連れで不安もありましたが大自然と素晴らしい温泉とスタッフの皆様のおかげで素晴らしい旅となり大変満足しております。 必ずまた訪れたいと思います。 ありがとうございました。

Amazing place, great service, food, room and the remote location

ジビエ、岩魚を始めとした美味しい食事、天然の滝を見ながらの露天風呂、星空ツアーなど非日常的経験に大満足です。

家族で利用しました。ロッジがとても綺麗で、とても快適でした。部屋風呂もあり、　子ども達が大喜びでした。料理もちょうど良い量でした。鴨肉のしゃぶしゃぶが美味しかったです。ただ、子どもには大人向けの料理なため、子どもは選べると良かったです。 温泉はとても良かったです。従業員の方々もとても丁寧でした。また利用したいと思います。
