The property was well kept, very clean, very nice staff. We had a pool view which was beautiful & you can see the ocean/mountains from there. The view was beautiful! The room was nice however the jets in the tub didn’t work. I was a bit disappointed about that because that was 50% why I booked the room however being right in front of the pool made up for it. The property is very safe & there’s cute cats that roam around. Recommend this quiet stay. It was not busy at all even though it was sailing week during my stay.

It's a nice place.

I arrived just prior to front desk closing and check in was very straightforward, paying the US$8.10 per day Visitor Tax. I had a studio-type room suitable for a couple, complete with light-housekeeping facilities; bar fridge, cooktop and microwave. The place is very quiet and the garden units all have covered, front porch with a beautiful garden view and hummingbirds in the flowers all day long. Only noise at night are the whistling frogs. Being close to a mangrove swamp, bug spray is a necessity at dawn and dusk. Gardens are well kept and there is an historic ruin of a sugar cane press to remind one of the Island's unfortunate heritage. If you want peace and quiet, close to nature, this is the place.

We had a lovely time here for 13 nights and it is very beautiful here. We swam in the pool every afternoon and we were usually the only ones there. With only 16 rooms you really feel like you have the place to yourself. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We had a hire car and a full itinerary so we were out every day. A excellent supermarket and great restaurants are 10 mins away by car in Jolly Harbour. Beautiful Darkwood beach is just a few minutes away. The air con is very good, the showers are hit and the bed is comfy. A very good value stay on the beautiful island of Antigua.

I had a great time at South Coast Horizons. The property manager was so welcoming and helpful. It’s a great location, close to everything. I will definitely choose this place for my future visits.

If you’re looking for a quiet place in the country of Antigua this is a nice choice

Staff was excellent

The property location is great. You need a car. Around there are nice dining options and beaches. Property is relatively quiet though you can hear your neighbors very clearly. The host was communicative and attentive. However the bed was so soft and uncomfortable and there wasn’t hot water for us- we stayed at G3 but host mentioned that someone is coming to fix it today.

I loved the property and how it was set up. A few tiny things niggled me. The jacuzzi bath didn't have a stopper so couldnt use it as a bath. The shower wasnt cleaned properly, there was hairs all over. No other plugs for international guests. Some of the lights didnt work.

Thanks again for such an amazing stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and we couldn't have picked a better place on the island. It's in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with beautiful views both out to sea and in and around the grounds. Couldn't recommend SCH enough.

Great place to stay, but not close to much, which is the only downside. Great to stay here if you have a car, & like being alone, but if not, probably better to stay in Jolly Harbour, where we had to end up driving to for groceries & dinner. There are allegedly some small, local restaurants nearby in the small town of Morris Bay, but none were open. A bit farther, in Carlisle Bay, there is a fantastic (but pricey but worth it) Greek restaurant about a 15 min walk, with beautiful views.

This is Fantastic property set in a quiet rural location, in a gated community with it’s own fabulous pool and a views of the sea. It’s a short 10 min drive to Jolly Harbour or 20 min to English Harbour. There is a huge amount of well kept grounds to stroll around, with a short walk to it’s own private beach. The staff are wonderful. Housekeeping come every other day and do a fantastic job. Security is on every night. The accommodation is immaculately clean & comfortable and with only 10 or so villas on the property it’s never crowded. This is a real gem on the south coast of Antigua, just around the corner from some of the most prestigious resorts in Antigua. Well worth staying!!

Each room looks little bit different from an another one. In my room I had a stove, another one didn’t have it. The rooms look ok, but the doors have spaces underneath so insects escape to the room. The rooms has a signs to turn off AC and lights when you leave. Excuse me??? This is ridiculous. The beach is very far away and you have to use raft to get there. It’s dirty and isolated. There are no restaurants around so you have to use taxi, or public transportation to get anywhere. Very inconvenient!
