Very kind staff. The baths were amazing!! We loved our traditional room, it was very relaxing. I loved the retro vibe here. I definitely would recommend staying here.

It was a very unique experience. They were agreeable, and when language was a barrier, even those who didn't know English, they were fluent enough to understand what you were saying and what you wanted/needed and delivered promptly. While I did attempt to use my limited Japanese, it was just that, limited. Whenever I'm in Kyoto again, I would likely come back to this Inn.

The traditional Japanese hotel is definitely a different experience. Mainly the public baths. Traditional Japanese breakfast was very different as well.

It has a showa type charm. Really excellent staff and lovely Japanese room overlooking river and garden.

アクセスも周辺環境もよく、また必要な設備が整っていたのでありがたかったのですが、チェックインの際に利用しようとした共用部分のトイレがひどく汚れていたので、少し頻繁に点検していただけるとありがたいです。

温泉♨️と食事は特に良い スタッフの対応も丁寧で良かった^_^

I arrived late, but the staff was very welcoming. Even managed to get a late dip in the onsen, which was really great.

かもがわカフェの落語会（東京からの噺家さんの）に行くのに素泊まりで使わせていただきました。夜ご飯は、近くに色んな店があり楽しかったです。 最寄りバス停から、歩いて2分

とても落ち着けて、リラックス出来ました。

Fue una buena experiencia hospedarnos en un Ryokan, sin embargo, el hotel ya está viejito. El baño terminal está excelente! El personal súper amable, siempre atendiendo con una sonrisa!

駅から離れているため、徒歩で観光してる場合は、不便です。バスは近くから出でますが、夜に出歩く際は、人通りも少ないので少し不安になります。 夜の飲食店も徒歩圏内には少ないので、当館で晩御飯食べてゆっくりするのが良いかと思います。 ベッドがスプリングが肌身に感じ、温泉の塩素によるものなのか、寝る時は肌があちこち痒くなってしまいました。 枕はカバーは洗ってありますが、枕自体が古く、加齢臭がカバーを通してして気持ち悪くなり使えず、代わりにクローゼットにある柔らかい枕に手を伸ばしたところ、黄色のシミだらけで、ゾッとしました…。また、部屋の空調なのか、止めてもずっと音がしていて、なかなか寝付けず、朝ぐったり。 温泉があるから、まだそこは良しですが、衛生面気にされる方には不向きかと思います。

Location is good to stay. I could find good restrants arond the Hotel in walking distance.
