Very nice room good service

Something was biting us in the beds

The staff from Property Knights were exceptional, great communication, responded to questions, provided information. The apartment was clean. The kitchen, whilst stocked, has no dishwasher, which was not a huge problem for us, but all the glasses, mugs and cutlery needed a good scrub. We did not cook whilst here, but did get a takeaway, having a microwave, with a food cover was a bonus. The bed was clean and comfortable. Lots of fresh towels. Bathroom was ok, very limited space between the basin and the toilet itself, making it quite difficult to sit, as your knees were against the unit. 😳 Overall a good central place to stay. A little tired looking, especially the communal areas.

Positives: - Good location - Good communication - kitchen was well equipped - shower hot (although very small) Negatives - bathroom is small and poorly designed (difficult to sit on toilet!) issues with damp and drainage leaving a pungent odor. - communal areas had stained and dirty carpet, broken letter boxes and generally run down. - communal areas often smelt of smoke. - double bed was 2 single beds, meaning there was a ridge in the middle of the bed. - carpet in the studio was coming away from the grippers in a few spots. - studio would benefit from being painted as walls were stained in several areas. - windows had lots of condensation and mold. - heating didn’t seem to work. The studio could be a really nice space if was kept fresher, the issues the communal areas are not a fault of the hosts, but impact on the quality of the stay/ apartment. The property is in a great location, with easy walk to shops, Piece Hall etc. and there was free parking near by also.

The advert showed a new apartment, this clearly wasn't. Holes in the wall, skirting boards hanging off. Pubes on the toilet seat. Like something off a crime show off the Tele, the building was scary and not somewhere to take a family and certainly not safe for a child. AVOID

Great central location and was ideal for us visiting family. Towels and bed linen spotlessly clean and apartment. Only negatives were entrance into it a bit run down, no teabags or sugar in pots which I would have brought along but didn’t as it stated they were provided and I didn’t discover this until I went to make one in the morning after arriving late the night before. Water in taps extremely hot. Communication excellent and answered any questions promptly. Overall it suited us for what we needed.

Lovely apartment - close to everything. Highly recommend

The location is good for visiting the Piece Hall, borough market, west gate arcade and the minster. The studio is supplied with basics such as coffee, tea, salt and pepper as well as shampoo, conditioner and shower get. The only issue was that the building overall isn’t very well maintained. It smelled like cigarette smoke and weed in the hallways and at least one hallway door was very difficult to open. Broken mailboxes as soon as you enter send alarm bells. The check in instructions were excellent, very clear and I realize that there is only so much the property owners of the room can do about the overall standard and security of the building. As I’m a single female traveller, I probably wouldn’t stay there again despite liking the location and the room itself which was clean and comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Extremely close to the town with plenty of options for food.

Was very pleasantly surprised after reading some of the negative reviews! Apartment was in an excellent location short walk to the Piece Hall & town centre. Excellent facilities and very quiet so got great nights sleep! Bed was also very comfy - would definitely stay here again as found it great value for money!

Great place to stay, easy walk to piece hall and the town, very clean and responsive owner to messages.

The heat was a bit much in the room (but thankful the property has a free standing fan) but the room served its purpose for a short stay and was a nice vibe.

Great for a couple of night stay

This property was an ideal location for a concert I was attending at the Peice Hall , I would highly recommend based on price , location and quality of the property.

Excellent value and perfectly, centrally located. Property manager was really lovely and it was such a great price for the facilities. Perfectly equipped little apartment ideal for our needs.

Appartment was presented very well . Very clean everything we needed was provided in apartment. Host helped locate parking within 5mins walk from accommodation and was only £3 for 24hrs . Apartment very close to everything has to offer we were at a concert at the piece hall and it was very walkablebwith plenty bars and restaurants enroute . Will definitely use again next year when we are visiting Halifax

The apartment was lovely very clean and central but it was very hot and i couldn't open the windows so you should leave instructions how to open them

Had a really nice stay the apartment was really nice, I would highly recommend it and will stay again, it was lovely and clean and tidy, had everything you need for a stay

I stayed in the Lister apartment and it was so wonderful. They have everything you need even for a weekend stay. Clean, warm atmosphere, and quiet. Loved it here as a solo female traveler and would come back again!
