All staffs are nice and helpful

Location is absolutely perfect, you’ll be in the most beautiful part of the town within a short walking distance to all key attractions and restaurants / bars. Rooms are very clean & staff are friendly. Highly recommending!

The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The only drawback was that there is no in room safe to keep your passport and other valuables secure.

Hotel Palacio was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay there.

This was a very nice experience, the hotel is situated very close to the eating and shopping area which is very convenient. Supermarket is near by bank as well. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Place is very nice.

Quiet hotel, great staff and right in the middle of the town which makes most things accessible.

Great service

Extremely disappointed. The bed was collapsing on one side and was extremely uncomfortable. When brought to the attention of the reception, they said "must be the mattress" and left. The toilet ceiling was broken, shower extremely old and fridge not even plugged in. On the second day they didn't even come to service the room. The AC is extremely noisy as it's really old. The only plus side is the location right in the centre.

Amazing helpful staff made this trip a wonderful stay!

Must walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to the lobby and another 1 - 3 flights to the room. No lift or help with luggage. No glasses in the room, no hot water in the shower in one of the rooms and none at all in the other room. Stained sheets, lumpy pillows. Loud vehicles racing in the street, loud music all night, hotel says it is sound proofed but that is not correct. The single pane glass did nothing to limit the noise. Scary neighborhood: men walking around all hours, hollering, screaming at themselves and each other.

No hot water No phone in the room so that you could call the front desk in the event of any request or issue.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Facilities very clean. An excellent breakfast.

Staff friendly and very helpful and always available if you needed them. Great lounge areas in reception. Room was nice a big with desk and chairs, beds slightly hard but I prefer that too soft. Only downside is all the noises you hear within the hotel, so other people’s bathrooms, the A/C humming from other rooms from outside your room, ear plugs a must, very quiet once everyone’s asleep. Great staff: they were helpful and accommodating. Hotel does not have a lot of aminities, but is in a great location - walking distance to a lot of places. I would recommend this place and definitely stay here again.

The Palacio is located in the heart of the UNESCO listed inner city of Paramaribo. We picked the hotel due to reviews and location, which were indeed good. But we were especially impressed with the service . Rochelle, Ariella and Barbara went above the call. In addition to Swift and efficient email replies on matters like transfers, they additionally helps us organise a surprise birthday for one of our group. It would not have been possible without them, and I’m sure it’s not in their job description. Our itinerary meant we checked in and checked out of the hotel multiple times, and they let us store our luggage securely which was a great help to avoid having to carry everything to everywhere we went in Suriname . Highly recommend the palacio.

Relaxing and chill area. Great and very helpful staff! I would definitely return!

Felt especially unsafe when the sun went down. place is in a very lonely area with quite a few vagrants on the streets out side. There is a scotia bank a few buildings away, the stairs/entrance foyer seem to serve as an inn or sleeping place for the homeless.
