The Oasis advertises itself an an apartment hotel but they are not really apartments, there is no kitchen or separate living area even in their suites (which i booked). The rooms are dated and the TV is tiny (I ended up using my laptop it was so small). The bathroom was old and the drains smelled when you used the shower. Also there was no safe in the rooms. However, saying that the staff were very friendly and tried their best to be accommodating for any requests.

From start to finish, the staff worked hard to make my stay there pleasant. I had a wonderful time and will definitely suggest this hotel to others.

Don't get this Hotel if you like Peace and Quiet....The rooms were big but there were roaches in the bathroom coming into my room and I couldn't stand that. The Hotel was next to a Club which operated every single day until 2:45 am or later or sometimes until 4 or 5 am, People left the Club drunk and sounded like they argued over anything and everything, there were always someone pushing or pulling something, dogs howled and barked all night. I believed many homeless or street kids live around the area including the regular community who stay somewhere (home/apartment etc.). A lot of traffic around there and it was just busy. Many days I had a headache for lack of sleep and I there were others who felt the same way. When they cleaned your room you get one bottle of water. Don't ask for another bottle, they will charge you. Better to just go around the corner to get a large bottle of water. The people were nice and most of them working there at the desk were very young and messages were not given to you always. I had an important call I was waiting to receive and asked them everyday did I receive the call. They would tell me no. I later found out that I did received the call and he left his number with the person at the desk but by then, my friend had left that Country. I was quite upset.

Do NOT use this hotel unless you do not need the shuttle. Confirmed with the hotel TWICE that I would require the shuttle service. Flight was scheduled to get in at 2:55am, it was 20 minutes late. The driver waited until 3am and LEFT!!! I was stranded at taxi/shuttle pick-up until they came back at 7:30am (they were supposed to be there at 7, but were late). Had several people try calling the hotel throughout the night, they never once answered any of the phone numbers we tried calling. I would not stay here again.

I have stayed here before. I had enjoyed it so much that I didn't think twice when I decided to go on my last trip. The hotel is very clean, close to where I had to go and more importantly, very friendly staff and excellent service.

A basic hotel. Access difficult as at the bottom of a very muddy potholed road. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Food is terrible. Near to the airport Rooms a good size and kept very clean.

I had a one night stay in Addis so wanted somewhere reasonably priced with airport pick-up. I was collected promptly and it's just a short drive from the airport. The hotel is comfortable and the wifi works well. I was the only person dining but really enjoyed by dinner and was impressed with the breakfast buffet too

I like to think a Hotel is primarily used as a place to hang up some clothes, have a shower and enjoy a good restful sleep. The Oasis fulfills the first two criteria but ---THE NOISE--- my goodness. Paper thin walls had me listening to next room lovemaking on one side and TV until 1am other side-- plus on my last night a full blown street type party until 2am. Add to this the terrible design of the Hotel with a central stairwell which echoes the noise throughout the place like shouting in a Cavern. The housemaids calling out to each other from floor to floor added to the racket. Also the echo noise continued with doors slamming and the double locks on the doors could be heard throughout the day and night. Look, the staff were great-- breakfast was fine--the room was clean, well furnished with good quality fittings but no fridge,no air-con or ceiling fans,no fly screens and (for 3 days)no wi-fi made my stay more stressful than restful. A day tour organised by the Hotel was good value with a great friendly driver, Yitbarek who spoke good English. I wish that I could recommend this Hotel but the noise factor was horrendous and lack of sleep left me washed out for the next leg of my trip

Very nice hotel. Staff were willing to help when and if possible. Hot shower, decent food, ideal central location to shops and heart of Addis. The dust was a major factor but with the redevelopment in addis that is to be expected. Definitely recommend hotel though.

My stay at Oasis Hotel Apartment was one of my most pleasant hospitality experiences in Ethiopia (I have been 3 times). The staff are warm and friendly, and really cater for your every need. The hotel is in close proximity to all of the landmarks in and around Addis Ababa, and at a very fair price indeed. The hotel is new, so there are many improvements needed in order to make it an overall excellent experience. They have all the staff and facilities to make it a thriving and comfortable place to stay.
