AVOID. This is a 2.5 star. I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel is listed as a four-star. My experience has been far from it. Yet again, there is no system here in Zanzibar for hotels’ stars. The moment I walked in, the place felt old, outdated, and depressing. The room I was given had no air, no natural light, and a terrible smell that didn’t go away no matter what I tried. The furniture is horrible and dirty the décor is stuck in another century, and honestly, nothing felt clean. The overall energy is just off. The bathroom wasn’t well maintained, and I didn’t feel comfortable using anything without wiping it down first. This hotel seriously needs a full renovation rather than throwing the “four-star” label around. Breakfast was below average, nothing appealing — I had to bring breakfast from the supermarket. Even the location, which should be a strong point, feels chaotic and crowded with cars everywhere. To be fair, SOME of the staff are kind and try their best. But that’s really the only positive thing I can say. If you’re coming to Stone Town, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Zanzibar has so many beautiful hotels — this one just isn’t it. I would never stay here again, and I honestly wish I had booked anything else.

Nice place! Easy check in/out. Continental breakfast with some small extras. Remodeled bathroom. Comfy beds. I didn't use the pool, it was a bit small but nice to have for sure. This hotel seems easier for having guests bc it's so central in stone town. So if you plan to have a guest it's not a big deal. Staff was friendly and helped me where possible

Cute hotel right in Stonetown. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast included. Rooftop pool area. Comfortable beds even though they're hard mattresses. Only drawback is depending on the room it can be quite noisy for awhile at night. Not wheelchair accessible

Its an average hotel with great staff. Breakfast was average, not much lavish. The apartments are at a walking distance from the main hotel whereby cars cant pass through. So thats a small problem especially for someone with a child. There can be improvement on adding shampoo /toothpastes in the bathrooms as guests may tend to forget theirs. Rooms are decent too.

Excellent location, cleanliness, safety, good food, and most importantly, the staff are extremely respectful and professional.
