All good, nice food, friendly people

The hotel is in a timewarp of the 70s mfi furniture in the bedroom just a sink in the corner toilet and shower down the corridor serving the whole floor. The only good thing was the Breakfast it was very good. The lady serving it was excellent. But on the whole I was disappointed. I wouldn't book this hotel again.

Great breakfast, great location, spacious room.

Please avoid at all costs. The ‘Tower’ view room is actually a view of a multi storey car park, and the ‘guest seating area’ is actually used by the ‘proprietors family’ or marked ‘Private’ The place is not clean, extremely scruffy and misleading. Check the reviews carefully. The ‘good’ reviews are from years ago when it was under different management. Awful place.

The breakfast was hot but I had a few problems the first one was the door of room locked me in had to bang 😭on the door told her I cannot get out so chucked the key out the window the lady opened it up so I could get out said she will get it sorted then my door opened and an elderly man with dementia was looking for his room so I called down the shower area was next to my room but it was not suitable for Me as to high plus no gran railsso I didn't use she said the door lock will be looked into I was in room three as it got changed from four I know it was a shared shower room but there was no space to put toiletries as someone else had their stuff all over the locking of the door has freaked me out a bit as it happened through the night as I needed to get to the toilet I had to push the door turn the key to the tight and jiggle it a few times then turn the key as if it hadn't turned I would have woken up the house hold I have made them aware of the problem so hopefully they will sort it out but they was so helpful with me as my mobility makes me slower good area near amenities but sadly the surrounding area needs renewing but overall was a good stay I know things happen but it doesn't put me off

To many family members in the place. Hardly any paying residents so it was a bit noisy and to unpleasent. I certainly wont be going there again. I will chose somewhere else.

This hotel is great for convenience of shops and attractions. The hotel is a basic hotel with a shower and toilet both separate from the room and they were both shared. The beds were both very comfortable and the room very quiet so had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent and parking space available. All in all good for a couple of days break if not picky about the accommodation.

I paid just £34 for a nights stay on Easter Saturday. The property is a little dated however it is clean and my room had everything you would usually pay much more for at other hotels. The owner was very helpful and polite and offered me a choice of breakfast which amazingly is included in the price! There is also free parking avaliable for guests. I had a good nights sleep and for the money it was excellent value.
