We would appreciate if the restaurant could be a bit more accommodating of guest requests. When we asked for dessert, we were directed to go look for it on another floor. Having a staff member retrieve it for us would have provided a much better service experience. We also found the loud alarm and blaring music used to signal the end of breakfast service on the first floor quite jarring. A gentle announcement or some other softer, more creative way to close the service would be preferable.

WORST HOTEL EVER – Ethiopia Skylight Hotel, Room E715. Criminal scam. 1. Public humiliation: Security searched bags & exposed my clothes to everyone, claiming "lighters not allowed". 2. Extortion: Charged $50 for 10-20min visitor. I have receipt dated today. 3. Hidden fees: Demanded $15/night extra after full prepayment. Forced to cancel 22 days. 4. Illegal: Night manager refused name. NO staff wear name badges to avoid accountability. Organized harassment & theft using "lighters" as excuse. WARN EVERYONE: Avoid this hotel. 0/5

When I checked in I was charged extra tax even though my receipt said that I had prepaid all accommodation and all taxes. The room had weird furniture like chair for desk to work on was too low, chair next to bed in bedroom meant you could only climb into bed from one side, no chairs on the balcony - only a table so I couldn’t sit outside, no remote for TV, rug that curled up since it was too big for the room. Internet was VERY poor and disconnected during many phone calls. Awful place. I won’t stay again.

Very good size room although wear and tear on places, particularly the shower, which could be repaired. Had an issue with lights in the bathroom not switching off although this was dealt in a timely manner. Lots of staff standing around looking bored and not particularly friendly but that’s a minor issue. Bigger problem was the complete lack of signage and information on where to find restaurants, shops, pool, spa etc. as this is such a large hotel in multiple buildings, this would have been helpful

Great room (studio) and friendly staff..

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world ( thru Expedia ) in my opinion it is a 3 star hotel not 5 star. Internet is lousy , room service sucks as there are no menu in the room have to call them to check what all they have on the menu . The worst is there buffet breakfast….. mind you security is very tight with swat team , it can be scary.
