The machiya home was wonderful to stay in. The bath and tatami mat room were the highlights and my favorite part. The staff was lovely and very accommodating and helpful.

This is a beautiful renovation of a historic building . Feels like a more modern take on a mix of traditional inn / condo . It was the perfect space for our family of 4. We stayed in the Sakura suite and all used the outdoor tub. Location is a little bit away from the main sightseeing area in Kanazawa , but easy access by bus or taxi . We liked the quiet area around the inn . We will definitely stay here again .

A beautiful traditional home with a modern twist. Clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Thoughtful touches , plenty of USB charger points to keep a 16 yr old happy - a remarkable find. The host is wonderful and helpful. Would have loved to stay longer
