Great room in a historic inn in the middle of Hoggsback. Service was virtually nonexistent, and the food was disappointing.

If they put half as much into the rooms as they do the garden it would be wonderful. The room is dark, the bed is cardboard and the carpet is historic circa 1970. It needs some freshening.

An awesome place to stay. Conveniently located, lovely cosy pub and restaurant. Very comfortable bed in our self-catering unit. The owners are really friendly and interested in their guests. We would love to go there again.

The room was very dusty n dirty.

Discovered shower not working so we requested a room change - staff did assist us to move our luggage

The trip was a special occasion my mother’s 80 th birthday! The staff were fantastic went the extra mile! Very clean comfortable accommodation. Definitely will return to this awesome inn

It was a nice time in Hogsback and the staff was great! I enjoyed this short stay and the food in the Restaurant was also very nice.

Lovely huge room. We felt like royalty seeing it the first time. Comfortable bed. Romantic fireplace and beautiful view of a small river. Lovely breakfast, though a bit pricey. Dinners great and very affordable. Nice spa bath and a double shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of history in these well renovated Inn.

Self catering was clean but was seriously in need of updating and maintenance which the hotel was busy doing. Wouldnt have booked there if we had known

We had a wonderful time here. Delicious food, comfortable rooms & helpful staff. Just what you want! We were very impressed with the new management who did everything they could to make our stay comfortable.

We were upgraded to a Riverview suite which was superb. The staff are super friendly and very welcoming, he only complaint would be the slow service for dinner. We will be back!

The hogsback inn has a wonderful feel to it. It has photographs from when it was built (late 1800s) on the wall, which add to the historic feel. The rooms are well kept and swimming pool and garden are lovely.
