We booked a long-term stay for December 2025 through January 2026 for our wedding, honeymoon, and winter break. On December 30, 2025, housekeeping entered our cottage and left the door open. Our dog escaped during this time. We were not notified for approximately two hours. The property owner did not contact us directly or provide an incident report. Our dog, Pax, has been missing since that date. As of writing this review, it has been 34 days. The property also had multiple maintenance issues during our stay, including power outages, septic odors, flooding in the shower, malfunctioning air conditioning, and excessive noise at night. The accommodations did not match the listing photos. Future guests should be aware of these issues, particularly those traveling with pets.

This hotel had great potential but lacking alot of amenities to make it good. The pool area reeked of sewer, there were no blankets on the bed only a top sheet and the staff that check us in was not warm or welcoming and did not provide basic info like wifi, or front desk hours

The hotel was peaceful, intimate, and beautiful. The history was cool. The bathroom could have been a tad cleaner but the fixtures were new, and the room was nicely decorated. The local stew plate and pumpkin pancakes were yummy. The snack plate mat have been freezer food (but different for us). The service was lackluster.

A unique boutique hotel with great staff who are helpful and informative. I would definitely stay again; it truly is a hidden gem.

Good dining experiences. Excess dog barking at night. Inadequate room air conditioning, lighting, no hot water, no English TV. Door locks and window operations are dated.

It's as stepping back in time. Beautiful. The staff is not really service oriented but at least they are respectful and friendly.

Haven’t experienced such a pathetic customer service . Staff is so rude and gets pissed off with guest for every smallest thing asked for . Pool is full of roaches . Not at all a good experience if staying with family .

Very friendly staff. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. Clean bedroom, bed and bath and good ammenities. Very nice atmosphere. Will recommend and be back!

The food at the restaurant was good. The hotel was ok they kept it clean daily. The main complaints i have are the noise there is dogs on the property and they bark loud i was woke up a few times in the middle of the night my room also had a dog odor lingering. Bugs. At night bugs were coming in from outside i reported it and they did the best to resolve the issue

We had a great stay (for a week) and were made very welcome by both the hosts and the staff at this boutique hotel. Special mention for Stefanie and Alan (our hosts - nothing too much trouble) and Blanca (perfect coffee every morning), Sharlon and Angelo (in the restaurant), Marie (house-keeping) and not to forget Max who welcomed us every morning with a smile. Landhuis KSM is a former Dutch plantation house, a national monument, restored in 2015, full of character and history. We stayed in the standalone apartment which was perfect for our needs. The Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we ate there every evening - a delicious menu with interesting options - all excellent value, beautifully cooked and well presented. Great views and sunset (not to be missed), perfect for accessing all of the beautiful beaches and snorkelling in both the centre and west of the island. Car is essential to fully appreciate Curacao. We saw a wide range of wild-life (including humming-birds, parakeets, lizards, etc,) If we return to Curacao; we will definitely visit again.

Great little hotel (5 rooms) with one of the better restaurants on the island. Amazing view of the bay. Staff is personable and helpful. An amazing location to explore all points of the island especially the more remote beaches of the west. Would definitely stay again.

Landhuis klein Santa Martha is a beautiful, historic manor house turned hotel and restaurant. Our room was in a ground level wing off the main building with the beautiful pool and patio right outside our front door. The garden has has a wealth of wildlife including lizards, birds, and hummingbirds.The building is also a full service restaurant so there is always activity going on but it was never invasive. The owners and staff are very nice and attentive. Be advised that this is in a rural location and there are not many gas, grocery, or restaurant (besides the in-house one, which is excellent) options near by. If you're looking for quiet, historic lodging, this is the place!

One of the best experiences of my life was here in Landhaus Klein. The room was spotless, clean, renovated. But most of all I want to mention the people who work there who gave me an exceptional and cordial customer service during my stay. The food of the highest world cuisine. And the beaches near the hotel are breathtaking. I would recommend Cas Abou as the first beach option. The fridge in the room is a super plus for me. Varouna was always attentive to us and I want to thank you for everything. My advice is to rent a car and buy a mosquito repellent because the site is virgin in vegetation. Mosquito repellent can be purchased at any market store before arriving at the hotel. Once applied, bye bye mosquitoes forever.
