Excellent hotel, great staff and very close by parking available

Staff is welcoming and very helpful

Building site next to the hotel. Work starts at 730am, although there was noise from 5am Tip for the hotel…….ask your guests on departure how their stay was? Its a shame as the hotel is somewhere i have stayed many times, but i wont be staying again.

The hotel was good, but staff welcome was average.

Great location. Drop luggage off at front of hotel because car park a few mins walk.

Good stay

My favourite Leicester hotel, staff friendly and all areas exceptionally clean. Bar and lobby area is very modern but retains a cosy feel, a great space to do some work in at the of the day, the rooms are spacious with city views and plenty storage and amazing bathrooms. Parking is easy and nearby to the hotel, making the trip hassle free.

Went by 2am had a flight but will use again

Wonderful hotel, great staff and lovely room. A particular compliment to the staff at NineB restaurant, the people working there are superb and the food and prices were great. Would definitely return.

Excellent hotel for central Leicester

Friendly staff. All good but would prefer a closer carpark, fine in the good weather but a bit of a trudge with cases if raining.

Great location

This is difficult to review due to the reasons for my stay. I have stayed at the Leicester Marriott over three Xmases (I live in Slovakia, though Irish). There is nothing specifically stand-out wrong with Novotel, it is new and fresh, but my main bugbear was the room sofa. It's not practical, it's split in two and you cannot slump into it comfortably. It looks okay if you have a 30-year-old model sitting on it for PR reasons, but it is not comfy or functional. Some bigwig in senior management approved it - he/she should be fired on the grounds of bad taste/judgement. This was a 3-day test to see if it would replace the 20-year-old Marriott, but also no. I was almost relieved to leave. It didn't feel 'homely' for a single person's Xmas stay. One outstanding point was the waiter in charge on Dec 19. (Unfortunately no name, but he had the right balance of solicitude without going over-the-top like some Americans do. An asset to the hotel.)

Very nice hotel, ideal in the centre of Leicester. Staff are all very professional and the rooms feel clean, comfortable and modern. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of food for all tastes.

All of the staff was so helpful and accommodating - I arrived a bit early but recognized immediately I was coming from overseas and was tired and rushing to a meeting, got a room ready for me early and were so kind and pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone - right in the heart of the city center. Loads I’d restaurants and shops nearby. And some amazing history!

Lovely stay and fantastic breakfast. Parking is right next door st £10 for 24 hours. The only downside was local builders starting at 8am.
