Didn’t really like our room. Balcony was terrible, looked out onto 2 garages with graffiti all over them. A noisy sports place and straight across the road, was a place for old age pensioners to go and do activities. But the people would come out, look up to our balcony and give dirty looks. Not friendly at all. Would never go back

The hotel was pretty average. Nothing particulalry wrong with it, but not good value for money. The service was good and friendly. The room was ok, nice an big but the layout was not functional at all. no place to place your toiletries while using the sink. there was no headboard, the switches and outlets were behind the bed, we kept on bumping into them at night. The bed was not comfortable at all. The spa was good, but the swimming pool was terrible. Not enough umbrellas for all the chairs, the pool was very small and very shallow. All in all it's ok if you get it for good price, but I would not pay a premium for it.

Ok position for hotel, you can walk to everything but next time I would go closer to old town (personal preference). Staff were lovely and provided recommendations. Spa, sauna and steam room were fantastic. Our room was a little small and fridge not cold! Overall good hotel

Very nice and quiet street. Gym and facilities are excellent and the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Great hotel but incredible staff

New hotel with good facilities, it’s a bit far from the old town it’s easy a 20-25min so probably not so convenient if you like to stay in the center. The breakfast is ok nothing too fancy! The rooms are good, modern but not great value for money vs the location!

Staff were nice but not as proactive or helpful when had air conditioning issue that lead to living in sauna and having to call through night to turn it on. So uncomfortable stay. Hotel in general clean, simple and pleasant. A little walk away from main area and in more residential area so better if just want a home base for explore wider area.

Nice property close to all amenities.

Our stay at Axel hotel was a very good one. It was clean and very nice. It was in a calm area but very close to the city centre and to the old town. We really recommend this hotel.

Great hotel and staff, will be back!

Excellent hotel. It’s an LBGTQ+ friendly chain but they welcome everyone. We loved our stay. The location is great, walkable to many bars & restaurants as well as the beach and old town. There’s a nice grocery store just down the street. Parking is 26 Euros a night. We would stay there again in a heart beat.

Short stay, but brilliant hotel, so wish it could have been longer. Great location, superb people and excellent facilities. Superb spa, wonderful breakfast and great rooms
