1. The property had very limited parking space 2. Getting to reception, we had to wait a long time before finding the receptionist in order to be able to check in 3. When we got to the room, the TV wasn’t working and to make matters worse, we couldn’t call reception to assist because the phone wasn’t working either 4. We went down to reception to ask for help, again, we had to look for the receptionist 5. They said the phones weren’t working because the wifi was down, but we were connected the entire time, this just seemed like an excuse 6. When someone eventually came to fix the TV, they had to go back to find someone else to help them with the fix 7. When we asked for Ice they told us we would have to wait because they would have to go buy it first 8. getting to the room itself, it was not properly cleaned AT ALL. It was just wiped down and things put properly. There was dust on the lamp switches and in corners. 9. The shower was the worst part of the experience. After a long day of traveling, we had to fight with the shower because the head was just spraying water in every direction, there was no balance between hot and cold. An overall really bad experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The friendly team at the Premier Inn kindly let me check out at 4pm, knowing I had back-to-back conference calls and was unfamiliar with Bloem. I offered to pay for the late check-out, but they wouldn’t hear of it. Every staff member went the extra mile—truly outstanding service that made my business trip a pleasure.

I honestly cannot thank the team at Premier Splendid Inn Bloemfontein enough. From the very first moment we arrived, we were treated like family. Every single staff member, from the security at the entrance, the reception team, the cleaners, the kitchen staff, and the reservation team, showed us nothing but kindness and genuine warmth. What touched me most was how everyone fell in love with my newborn daughter. The way they interacted with her, with so much care and joy, really made our stay unforgettable. That level of humanity and friendliness is something you cannot buy, it comes from people who truly love what they do. I’ve had the privilege of staying in big 5-star hotels this year, but I can honestly say that none of them matched the heart, humility, and professionalism I experienced here. If those luxury hotels want to learn what true hospitality is, they should come and take lessons from this amazing team. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was top class, and the location was perfect. But above all, it’s the people that made this place so special. Please fix the fridge issue,each room should have a bar fridge no stories. Please clean the floor rugs. Otherwise we had a beautiful stay, staff is very professional especially the security guards ,they were very helpful, patient and very friendly to us.
