Excellent location

An incredible building with spacious rooms and a very substantial breakfast. This was amazing value in Berat, a wonderfully scenic town. A brilliant stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very well priced. It was close to everything that I wanted to go and see in the area and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend staying here if you’re ever in the area.

Breakfast was good. Many of the amenities were not available during our stay (pool, spa)

Everything about this property was very good. The breakfast was ample and had a lot of different options. The staff was friendly and courteous. I felt we were treated very well while we stayed there. The room was clean and very comfortable and spacious. Our bed was very comfortable and large. More like a king size bed than a delux double. Everything is within an easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay very much

Lovely spacious room, good warm breakfast, great location.

This is an impressive hotel. We pulled into the parking lot and immediately left the property because we thought we were in the wrong place. It is one of the largest buildings in Berat and we thought we had made a mistake when we originally pulled into the parking lot. The hotel was quite quiet this time of year so it seemed a bit empty but we loved our room, the location and the staff were friendly and helpful. We could walk to all the sights we wanted to see while we stayed in Berat. There is a wonderful pedestrian way near the hotel that leads to many coffee houses, bars and restaurants. The castle is less than two km away not counting the walk UP to the castle where the sights are amazing. The provided breakfast was very good with a big variety. Our room was big, comfortable and very clean. This is an excellent choice if you are looking for a place to stay while in Berat.

They seem to be light on reception staffing. The person we interacted with most was quite new there and apparently did not know how to do many things. For example, we were assigned a room right next to the elevator. We asked if something else might be available to switch to and we were told were would need to wait several hours and to ask again at that time, when another person would begin their shift. Upon leaving I asked it I could have a receipt and were told by the same person that since I paid online that would not be possible. That was an odd response since I did all my bookings on a pay later basis. She became very annoyed by the request and just stood there and ignored me. I have never seen a receptionist behave this way in all my years of travel. I suspect she is not well suited to the job. The manager came at night and seemed to be well informed but that does not help if a guest has a question during the day,

Grand hotel in a good location for all Berat's attractions. Our room was very big with a fine view overlooking the castle. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Yes, some of the hot dishes were in fact luke-warm, but that didn't matter to us. Curiously, our room was serviced on the second day of our stay, but it didn't stretch to making the bed!

Great hotel for the money, needs painting outside. Some of the waiting staff at breakfast fiddling with their phones and hands in their pockets. Great young girl on reception very friendly and helpful . They shouldn’t try charging customers extra to use the pool not on.

The only negative comment I would make is that the hotel does not have a separate bar area, and you cannot get a drink past 10.30 - on a Saturday evening 😟

Stunning hotel looking over Berat. The staff were so helpful, and when we had an issue with our shower it was fixed within 10 mins of reporting it-5* service Breakfast was a classic self-service buffet each morning, simple but delicious. We also had massages in the spa. The service quality was superb. The spa was lovely and I imagine it will be a great facility when fully opened. However our room was on the first floor just above the restaurant which meant we heard music from the restaurant 7am-11pm everyday.
