It’s the university area and it’s a single dormitory room. No A/C and very small twin bed not fit for two. If you’re under thirty you’ll like the area, over thirty it recommend another hotel

Centrally located, clean, friendly staff, and most important...safe. I am a female solo traveler and have never felt more safe in any other place. You need to key card through multiple areas to arrive at your room, which I appreciated. The facilities were clean and updated. Staff was super friendly. There was a kitchen available to store and cook food if you wanted to. There is a small grocery store close by, along with plenty of restaurants, pubs, shopping, and transportation. I will definitely stay here again.

This place is normally a dormitory for college students, but during the summer, they rent it out to the public. The room itself was fairly small as expected, and you have to share a common room, but you have your own bathroom. If you're prepared for all of this, then it's great value. There's a Tesco Express close by, and this is within walking distance for a lot of stuff in the Cork city centre, which is why I booked it in the first place. You're not going to find room service or anything else at "normal" hotels, but that's okay for the price.

Student housing so dorm like situation. No air conditioning so room was very stuffy and limited amenities (I.e shampoo, hair dryer). Very small room. Was quiet during summer stay. Excellent location. Front desk staff were friendly and very helpful.

Excellent location, clean rooms, bed a little uncomfortable and too short for my partner where the cupboard is at the end of the bed. Rooms were warm but cool enough with the window open, unfortunately had to hear people coming back all night, loud voices and endless beeps from the card readers unlocking the gates and lifts. Wouldn't stay any longer

These are dorm rooms that are occupied for the summer. If you’re up for roughing just a little bit it’s a good deal!

This is not so much a hotel but a hostel in a sketchy neighbourhood. Loud, dirty room, and lots of damage in the room. Drunken fights in the courtyard in the middle of the night too made for a rough stay.

We arrived about 11.30pm. The reception was open and well lit. The hotel was easy to find and central. We were given instructions on how to find our room. We got to our room, lovely and spacious, however it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guest- beds unmade, bin overflowing and wet towels on the floor in the bathroom. We went back to reception, the man apologised and took us to another room. The next room was fine; but it was about half the size of the first room which was disappointing. I also hadn’t realised this was student accommodation.

Great spot. Only problem is just one bed

Best value for the Buck or Euro. Basic dorm room but excellent walk in shower. Perfect location. Walk anywhere. Great food options and pubs. You can walk to Kent Station for a short train ride to Cobh. Helpful young staff. WORTH IT. I would def come back

This massive establishment provides the very basic necessity of a a bed to sleep on. I will never go back there again.

Superb central location. Well equipped student accommodation next to tesco extra. Secure area. Matrress a bit lumpy but all in would stay again

Central location and reasonably prices

The hostel is good. Excellent location. A kitchen is equipped with two big fridges, stove, etc. It can be noisy.

This was a great location and felt safe. It is a dorm room set up. The staff were nice and helpful. Everything is pretty basic, there were dirty dishes when we arrived but otherwise clean. The mattresses were pretty bare but if you’re looking for a safe place that’s a little cheaper and not concerned about amenities this will work.

Very disappointed I was targeted by scammers on the morning of arrival. Reception wasn't too interested that I received an email requesting more funds. I was then given false beliefs that I would be given an early check in. I saw other guest arrive after me and given their rooms Absolutely childish behaviour by reception.
