As a diabetic and vegetarian, the selection at breakfast was too limited. We assumed the hotel was non-smoking, but the smell of smoke was noticeable in the hallway and sometimes also in the room.

I have very mixed opinions on this hotel. Some things were great : Location less than 4 min walk from the train station. Close to many areas and only 30 mins walk to port. Room size was comfortable for one person. Shower was excellent with lovely toiletries. You have lots of options at breakfast. Food is of a high quality and staff welcoming and helpful. The following would have made my stay more comfortable given I was there for 4 nights One complementary bottle of water Access to coffee / tea making facilities in room or reception Wine available in minibar Tissues available in bathroom However my main complaint was the heat. The room was extremely warm. You can’t control the temperature well in your own room. I woke up a lot due to being too hot. It was too noisy to keep my window open as I was overlooking a busy street. I did open it periodically. I enjoyed my stay here and while I have listed 4 small suggested changes my main reason for not giving 5 stars is the room temperature.

The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful. Some small downsides. There was very little storage space in the rooms, so we had to live out of suitcases. There were several small steps along the corridors, making it hard for the mobility impaired. The location is mixed. It is close to the station, metro and buses, which is good. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby (which is fortunate as there is no restaurant in the hotel beyond the breakfast room.) The main streets seem basically safe enough (although we had to stop a pickpocketer stealing from our backpack outside the hotel) but the side streets felt dubious. None of this detracted from a good stay.

The staff were very friendly & helped make my staff a hassle free affair. The Breakfast was 1st Class, great fresh food & plentiful.

Good location, very close to the railway station. As they were overbooked, we got a twin room even tho we booked the queen room. So was not keen on that and the staff was a little rude about this.

The stay was fine fridge did not work on my return I have a charge of £182.00 I have tried ringing 20times permanently engaged The email system blocks you sending a direct email So I have reported it to Hotels.com but have had no answer as yet It had spoiled the trip and not being able to get a response in this day and age is ridiculous

I didnt feel safe when leaving the property, but this is not the properties fault. Going out during the day was fine, but late at night, I did not feel safe. But again not the Hotel's fault and nothing they can do. We liked the food nearby and the train station nearby. Easy to get around. I loved the windows opening to the outside world. The room was fine, we only stayed a few days to our next destination.

The staff members were wonderful. They were very helpful and friendly. On our last day we had to leave at 5:15 AM to catch a flight. Michael, the staff member on duty, was amazing. He arranged for our taxi to the airport and processed our check out quickly and professionally. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. We were disappointed that the pool was not open, but we stayed in mid-October. The breakfast was wonderful - many quality items to pick from. The location was walkable from the train station. The neighborhood was noisy, but with our window closed it did not bother us. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends!

WiFi in the room terrible. Poor TV channels veriety. TV affected like the WiFi with freeze. No telephone for outside calls in the room. Very little space on sink for toiletry. Shower floor with mold. Very small room. Staff okay. Location unpleasant.

Room was cleaned and well supplied with necessities. Staff were friendly. I will definitely go. Ack again.

Room was generally clean and comfortable with AC running great. However, the bathroom shower wall edges have molds that was kind of not pleasant to look at while showering. Think new caulking is required. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and delicious. Overall, quite a pleasant stay.
