Tiene pequeñas cucarachas, no respetan VIP access, necesita remodelacion urgente, apenas llega a 2 estrellas.

En nuestra ultima noche no hubo agua hasta la 1am, esperamos muy cansados para tomar un baño. Encontramos pequeñas cucarachas en la habitacion. El hotel esta muy lejos de ser 5 estrellas como se promocionan, apenas llega a 2 estrellas. Necesita remodelacion urgente. No te ofrecen los beneficios VIP y fueron muy arrogantes cuando le preguntamos por ello. Extremadamente caro por lo que ofrecen.

I didn’t like the hotel. We were without water in the room intermittently our entire stay. The water wasn’t hot the majority of the visit. The food was average at best.

I enjoyed the swimming pool! You can swim anytime of the day! Food was great, the service was excellent. I will go there again!

The Memling hotel is just fine... the beds are comfortable, the staff are helpful and friendly, and it is lovely to have an outdoor pool, with music poolside on the weekend. It is also near some great, quick restaurants to grab hummus, shawarma, or other Lebanese snacks! However, there were tiny cockroaches in my room (although the cleaning staff are amazing! I think the cockroaches are just a product of the general decline of the hotel). Consider having products on hand to repel mosquitos for poolside diners- like sprays, coils, or candles! That would be a really nice touch to elevate the experience! The prices are insane... $6USD for a can of Coke?! A $20USD+ croque madame?! It all feels a bit exorbitant. Yes, Kinshasa is expensive, but this is over the top! Anyways- overall a pleasant stay! I just think there is better value for your money in Kinshasa!

I love Memling Hotel. The rooms smell wonderful, very clean and the restaurant is excellent. I highly encourage this place. The one down fall is the outside surroundings, but that is the case with every hotel in Kinshasa.

We’re aircrew and booked three rooms at the Memling with $26 food/beverage credit vouchers, but NEVER received them! We couldn’t get our own individual roomkey and had a to ask everything the frontless to come and use the master key. In the evening we made a takeaway order at the restaurant for the morning leaving at 5 am and we found out at 5 am that the chef even didn’t start to prepare our order. Nobody took responsibility and we even had to pay $220 for it with no apologies whatsoever.
