Amazing location and staff - highly recommend!

Ventozelo Quinta is a dreamy, perfect, magical place. It is incredible beautiful, has magazine-worthy views, world class service, pristine rooms and delicious farm-to-table food. We were speechless watching the sunset and loved the scent of lavender that wafts across the paths. The staff were all so attentive, it's obvious they take 5 star hospitality seriously. We loved the pool, walking through the property with its stunning gardens and romantic feel. This hotel is truly one of the best we have ever experienced, totally worth the drive along the Duoro river. Oh and check out the museum, insanely curated modern cool space, book your pottery class in advance, try some tawny port and take home some divine olive oil or wine from the shop. It is so elevated, all of it.

Absolutely superb and relaxing!! Our stay at Ventozelo exceeded our expectations! The scenery, the staff, the service, the food, our room made for an ideal atmosphere for us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We didn’t want to leave! The staff are so kind and warm and took very good care of us. The cantina was one of our favorite spots for dinner and just watching the sun set while drinking wine and listening to their music. We didn’t try the pool but it looked beautiful. We stayed in one of the bubble houses with a patio and our own living room. Beautiful accommodations. It was very easy to stay here and enjoy the wine tour and walk around the property. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if we come back.

The property is breathtaking. The views, walking paths, history- everything is beautiful and peaceful. Although room was small, we didn’t spend much time inside- so many things to enjoy outside. We had garden view rooms and it had a very beautiful porch with roses. The whole property is very well maintained, and not touristy at all. Peace and quality everywhere .Dinner was lovely.

Absolutely lovely property and the the female member on reception was so nocecand helpful. However a major road was closed nearbtge hotel and we were not warned about his in any way and when we encountered it we were directed to a different route by the police which was the scariest route I have taken in my life of 45 mins of pure hell and my husband is a very confident driver. We then found out from the restaurant were visiting that our hotel had a private safe route which no one bothered to tell us about. When challenged by this later the reception staff of 2 men doged every way to apologise or to take any responsibility which was disgraceful

This Quinta was breathtaking! It was all kept in perfect conditions. The staff was very nice and attentive. The restaurant service and food was excellent.

Beautiful location and amazing food !!

This was the most memorable and beautiful lodging of our entire 3 wk Portugal stay! The Quinta is beautiful in every way and the staff could not be more accommodating. The view of the Duoro Valley and river is magnificent, pictures don’t do it justice. there is a stunning infinity pool and breathtaking views everywhere! The rooms are small but stylish and lovely with outdoor seating. Great Restaurant , wine tasting and boat tour (for extra charges) Don’t hesitate to book this stay. We hope to return someday.

This was the most incredible stay in the Duoro valley. We absolutely loved being at the Quinta and exploring the property hiking around. We booked the wine tasting and picnic directly through their website (must be done this way) and they were both wonderful experiences. The staff is exceptional. The pictures we are leaving with almost look fake they are so beautiful.

This hotel well exceeded our expectations. It was the most beautiful location, every meal was amazing, and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend if you are looking for exceptional views and a luxurious relaxing vacation.

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. This property is beautiful, the staff are exceptional and the food is absolutely delicious. Our stay was completely faultless and I wish I had booked for longer. We also had the pleasure of enjoying a tasting which was world class in terms of information and passion of the host. If you’re scrolling looking for somewhere to stay, stop & book.
