Staff and breakfast!!!!

Likes: Quiet, clean, friendly staff, and just a few minutes walk from the beach. Dislikes: It's located next to a preschool, so six days out of the week, it is your alarm clock. If you are looking to be pampered, this place is not for you.

One of my worst hotel experiences. The air conditioning in the room did not work and there is no overnight staff to contact. It was 34 degrees. There is no bottled water in the rooms (you cannot drink the tap water). When an extra towel was requested (for the second person in the room - the room had 2 beds) the staff said none were available as they needed to do laundry. One was eventually provided and it was dirty. Stained with unidentified substance on certain parts. Staff at breakfast was friendly but there is no water available then either. They suggest you purchase at a local shop. The location is very (!) difficult to get to due to the lack of roads (there is a road but it is not paved and so full of crevasses it is very difficult for cars to access it. Would not recommend unless your only requirements for the evening are a flat surface to sleep on with walls around you.

No air conditioning but you didn't need it. Small and quaint. Nice location and price. My only complaint is that I wish they started breakfast at 7am instead of 8am. They also could do a better job with their coffee too.

Clean, comfy rooms. Basic, but it's got all you need. Staff are amazing; everyone is very kind and goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. We got a tour around the general area after check in and they helped with any and all reservations for taxis, excursions, etc. Breakfast is delicious. So much fruit! Very good. One and only downside is the heat - there is no AC and there is unfortunately not much breeze going through the room. The ceiling fan helps, but only so much. If you don't mind the heat, then this is the perfect place.

You can't beat it for the price you get. Room is 2 minute walk to the beach. Staff is friendly with a free delicious breakfast. Moody, the owner, is great and can connect you with people for any activity you want to do. Only downside is no air conditioning but if you want ultimate comfort like that I suggest Miami, not Zanzibar. Wifi also worked well.

I am happy that I stayed at Nungwi House. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I felt like friends. They helped me about anything. I would definitely recommend this place. It is very close to the beach and there are taxis right in front of the hotel.

O hotel é super ótimo. Tudo bem confortável. Internet super ok. O ponto alto desse hotel é a equipe. Nunca conheci pessoas tão incríveis! Super recomendo.

Super équipe au Nungwi House, aux petits soins...Tres bien situé, à quelques pas de la plage et restaurants. Situé en face d'une école qu'il est possibe de visiter.
