Lovely staff, lovely room, rooftop pool area under construction but it looks great

Spatious room, friendly staff, great breakfast.

Terrible stay at this property which in dire needs for renovation. The furniture is old and the bed is horrible better sleep on the hard floor than sleep on an old mattress. The bathroom smells sewage and there is mold all around it. The construction that’s going around this hotel will woke you up and keeps going on most of the day. Definitely not staying here anymore after this terrible experience.

Staff was rude and they gave me room with leaky bathroom and water was all over the bathroom. Stay away from this shady hotel.

Good hotel, staff friendly, breakfast good - buffet style, but you can order eggs (omelette, fried etc). Fab rooftop pool area. Room had ac, fridge, kettle. Good location, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, about a thirty minute walk into the medina

Check in was straight forward. English speaking staff. We had a couple of issues, bathroom lock kettle but they fixed it. They have a construction next door but that's out of their hands. Staff are polite, helpful, respectful. The area is great and really busy with lots of shops to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was basic.

The pool, staff and location were great. The lack of pillows on the bed was strange and the shower was really gross. Lots of mold. The first night our room was terrible. Broken closet, shower moldy and leaked all over the bathroom floor. They were very kind and moved us the next day to a larger room.

The Ibn Batouta was a great hotel. The staff were all very friendly, the breakfast each morning was excellent, the rooftop pool and cafe was beautiful, and the rooms (although a bit small) were clean and quiet. The location of the hotel seemed perfect as it was walkable to the popular areas, sites, and Souks. We would recommend this hotel to all travellers.
