I was impressed by Calm and peaceful environment accentuate by relative distance from busy social amenities . Ideal hotel for those seeking sitiational isolation to relax and enjoy days with not activities . However, the Access is compromised by the Slopping few meter hill which is not safe. No Main lounge to welcome the Guest especially if the guests are many.

This is our favourite stay in Kampala. Super friendly service, aesthetically pleasing, lush surroundings, beautiful African vibes. The food is fresh and good. (The sound proofing between rooms is not great, but the beds and actual bedding is very comfortable.) Good ac. Loved the pool for cooling off.

I gave the hotel a higher rating because it totally met our needs and expectations. I don’t want to stay in a place with next to no amenities where I feel unsafe, but I also don’t want to pay a crazy amount to sleep for a night or two, no matter how nice it is! The Humura was our speed. Spacious room, a wall of windows onto green space, comfortable bed and linens, reasonably working AC, QUIET, (except that the walls are thin! We used a background noise app because we could hear out neighbours.). Ensuite bath ✔️ - although hot water was off and on. Great breakfast and nice pool . The.pool is not ‘blue’ bc it’s made of local stone slabs, not a blue liner. It was refreshing and clean. The decor/art is great - a lovely African vibe. This is our new retreat spot in Kampala. We’ll be back.

Quant boutique hotel with decent restaurant menu and friendly staff. Unfortunately the rooms are right next to the entertainment area so late noisy nights are common. Wifi is sporadic which was annoying. All in all I recommend if you looking for proximity to UN or Italian and Irish embassies.

Lovely property, quiet and surrounded by trees and birds singing. Kind of like an oasis in the middle of Kampala. Very relaxing and such lovely staff. They really went out of their way to make me feel welcome and accommodate my schedule with a delicious early breakfast. It is not a very fancy hotel, but it is really a delightful place to relax and retreat, very comfortable with all the amenities one could need, and a real escape from any hectic craziness in Kampala. Wish I could have stayed longer!

This is a nice, clean, peaceful hotel with lovely, friendly staff. My only gripe is that the internet frequently cuts out and can be slow

Never have I had such responsive communication before arriving at a hotel. The staff is friendly and professional! The chef makes his own bread, jams and there was peanut butter. For a centrally located hotel in Kampala, Humura offers a calming respite. Easy walk to the Uganda Museum and other locations. I would definitely come again!

The property is beautiful and tranquil. The pool, gym, and upper deck are all incredible features. The location can be tough to get to during the jam but once you are there, you would have no idea you are in the middle of the city.

Clean and quiet with great service; a small boutique hotel with large/decent rooms. Food is fine. Only challenge is reaching the hotel during rush hours. Not many channels on the TV. Great hotel for single travelers and couples looking for a peaceful base.

After many trips to Kampala We have finally found ‘our hotel” Cozy, hidden away right in the heart of the city We entertained up to 20 for dinner and our Ugandan guests were impressed Like having dinner in a tree house The servers worked hard to please us Only wished I had had time for the gym that looked really clean No bug bites of any kind

I enjoyed my time here. My first time at this hotel and the staff treated me like an old friend. Food from the restaurant was good too! Fresh made eggs for breakfast, however you want them. Buffet had everything you could want. The place was quiet too!

Major building work was going on while we stayed for 2 nights in April 2018. The hotel should have been closed during this period. After a long hot journey to Kampala we had to step over plastic sheets and dusty corridors and endure drilling and hammering throughout the afternoon. The advertised swimming pool was not available due to the buiding work going on all around it. On our 2nd day we found the room had not been cleaned or made up. My wife had to ask for clean towels and we made our own bed. This is not the standard we would expect from an expensive hotel. We could have booked into many other hotels in Kampala if we had known that refurbishments were ongoing. On complaining to the manager my wife was told the work would be finished in 3 or 4 days - that is not the point - it should have been closed! We were offered a complimentary dinner but found the outdoor dining area was not lit. We had to use a flashlight and other guests were using their mobile phones to read the menu. We waited a long time for our food only to find it was poorly cooked. On a good note - the single server was helpful, moving us indoors to the lounge when a thuderstorm threatened. On checking out the manager did not know how to operate the computer. The receptionist, however, was polite and courteous. This hotel looks good online but the management showed little regard for the comfort of their clients.

This is a charming hotel with lots of local touches--African art, weavings, etc--and a pleasant garden. Parts of the property were being renovated while we were there, but the staff did their best to minimize the disruption. We were particularly impressed by the kitchen--the chef uses fresh local ingredients and to cook tasty meals.
