This is a friendly small property with just 10 bungalows in a horse shoe shape around the pool and looking out onto the beach. Perfect for relaxing. Rooms were cleaned daily and were comfortable with good amenities. All of the staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. There are places to eat close by and a few local shops. I would definitely recommend nur beach and would stsy there again.

Lovely setting and the boys and girls that looked after us there are all very good at their jobs and providing first class service. We will miss them a lot. Would love to visit again in the future

The hotel was very clean, inviting and relaxing from the beginning. The staff is fantastic and very kind with great recommendations. The rooms are wonderful and very relaxing with a chillout porch where you can listen to the waves and relax. The food is great and the weather is amazing! I went with my buddy and didn't realize that it is a little more romantic so that was a little funny. Would go with my significant other next time. FYI.

We had an amazing three night stay at Nur Beach. The rooms and resort are very tastefully designed and decorated. On a very beautiful stretch of beach! Food and service also great. Overall really great value compared to other resorts charging just as much or more.

This hotel is immaculate and ideal for a quiet relaxing getaway. The service was helpful and not in your face but the food was poor. Everyday the staff present a substantial menu and ask you what you want to order for evening meal, for several hours after they return explaining that this item is off the menu until all that is left is rice, potatoes or something out of the freezer. Rather unforgivable given the hotel is literally on the beach and fishermen go out every day to catch fresh fish.

Exceptionally quaint bungalows alongside a pristine and gorgeous beach. This is truly a gem of a hotel. My wife and I stayed three nights here (perfect amount of time) after coming from Stone Town and the Serengeti. This was a nice & relaxing hotel with only 10 rooms. The prices are quite high for the food and drinks (relative to local prices) on many items, but still reasonable as compared to the states. We would definitely stay here again as it was a fantastic respite from the craziness of traveling in East Africa.

Spent 2 nights at Nur Beach Resort. The resort is quite small and laid back with 10 thatched roof bungalows surrounding a very nice pool and is located right on the beach. At high tide, however, the beach is underwater and the ocean crashes up against a cement wall. The staff was very friendly and helpful and arranged a number of excursions to see some sights on the island. The bungalows were pretty basic but clean. There was no air conditioning but thankfully the ceiling fan and breeze kept the place cool enough so that sleep was possible. Meals were available in the main open air lobby and staff were most accommodating. Meals weren't fancy but ok. A nice place to come and hang out for a few days.

Wow if I told about everything amazing about the Nur beach hotel 1500 characters would not be enought. Its an amazing new hotel (July 2015) with 10 bungalows. It has a great swimming pool in the middle of it with an amazing view on in my opinion the best beach in Zanzibar. Rooms get cleaned everyday, you get also beach towels. The staff is so amazing and friendly that you will feel like at home and will be very sad when leaving from there. The food is very good, we enjoyed the tapas every night-the prices are like in all Zanzibar-turisty:) All in all you get so much more than you pay and if you visit Zanzibar dont miss Nur beach hotel, a little private paradise in Zanzibar. There are also local restaurants near by (Captain Cook) with great and cheap sea food so you can save some money on the meals. Only negative would be a misleading information that they offer 50 dollars roundtrip taxi from and back to Stone town/airport-its actually 100 dollars for roundtrip, so 50 dollars one way.

Very nice and welcoming resort in Jambiani. The room interior is rustic and very nice. The staff is soooo amazing! They are very helpful and friendly. In the evenings, the resort guests have dinner at the lounge with music playing on the back ground and great ambiance!
