This is a wondeful 130-year-old hotel right on 4th Lake. Everything is within walking distance and the Laughing Loon is a good place to have a meal, a snack, and/or a drink. If there is a negative, it's the stairs - if you cannot do stairs, then this may not be the place for you.

Just what the doctor ordered - quiet, relaxing, beautiful setting in a lovely 4 story old but well-kept Inn.

This is one of the very few historic hotels from the great camp era. The room I stayed in has been updated nicely, and was warm and cozy despite it being extremely cold this weekend.

Nice staff, lovely setting. Only needed a fire place and fresh muffins!

Lost the jacuzzi tub

I liked that they had breakfast and nice room. It had the old fashion charm at this inn. It worked good for the location as we were there for the frozen fire and ice festival. We only stayed one night,but found nothing we didn't like. If you can't do stairs you might not like it, as their is stair up to the rooms. We had nice night there .

We love it here! The staff is excellent and our rooms are always very clean and cozy. This is our go to!

Great Stay! We came up to ride snowmobiles. Trails were right there step out the door

It was a comfy place, nice big room. My complaints were that there were dead flies everywhere, including in bathroom sink, a bunch on window sills and even on the bed. The coffee pot was dirty/not cleaned from prior use. It appeared this room hadn't been used in a while and wasn't cleaned well.

We had a great stay between Christmas and New Years. The staff was professional and helpful. We had a nice view of the lake from the room and the bed was comfortable and the room was big enough for two adults. The Woods Inn is a great location for visiting the Adirondacks.

This is an old time lodge with old time proportions and charm.

Fabulous old ADK start and dining. Steps to Inlet with lots of food and shopping. Staff great. Rooms ADK right on water.

Met all of our expectations. We are repeat customers and will be back again. Many options for dining,recreation and exploration. Great location to base out of to enjoy this side of the ADK.
