One important note: I highly recommend staying on the beachside only. Do not book the mountain side – it doesn't offer the same experience and may fall short in comparison. Our stay started a bit rough due to a misunderstanding at check-in, but the front desk manager Houssam quickly stepped in and resolved the issue with professionalism and care. From there, everything turned around. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Mohamed at both the beachside and the mountain side front desks – both were outstanding. They were attentive, proactive, and made sure every detail was taken care of. The rest of the staff were also incredibly kind and detail-oriented. The food was good for a hotel buffet – plenty of variety and everything was fresh. The location is excellent, the property is very clean, and overall, the quality of service exceeded expectations. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its service, cleanliness, and great location – just be sure to choose the beachside rooms.

Claims to Be 5-Star, But Feels Like a 3-Star Resort in reality. Naama Bay Promenade *Mountain Side* is advertised as a luxury 5-star resort, but it feels more like a budget 3-star hotel pretending to be something it’s not. The food was repetitive and bland, clearly aimed at large tour groups. If you’re not on one of those packages, you’re out of luck. Worst part? You have to pay extra for a Coca-Cola—even though it’s supposed to be all-inclusive. That’s just cheap. The air conditioning in my room barely worked, and despite complaining, nothing was done. I spent nights sweating in a room full of mosquitoes. On top of that, the Wi-Fi was useless—constantly disconnecting and making it impossible to get any work done. The setup is also a mess. The “mountain side” is across a busy road from the beach, and you have to cross through a security gate every time. They even blocked my taxi from entering, so I had to walk the rest of the way with a torn meniscus. Completely unacceptable. To be fair, the staff are doing what they can—they’re clearly overworked. The problem is the management and the false advertising. Bottom line: This is NOT a 5-star resort. It’s a mediocre, outdated 3-star hotel with extra charges, broken amenities, and a frustrating layout. I wouldn’t stay here again if it were free.

This is a good generally good hotel, the rooms are clean and cleaned every day. You get 2 bottles of water left in your room each day, there is tea and coffee and a fridge/ safe. I have stayed 3 times this year, it’s great for the price- The only negative is the large amount of Rude and irritating Russians and Ukrainians, they will push you out the way to get in front of you and enjoy large amounts of alcohol- so they are generally noisy at night. In the 3 times I have stayed this year, I have not seen or heard an English speaking person.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. Filthy mouldy rooms I have many videos and photos to complain to on the beach about saying it’s 5 star. Should only be 1 star. Rude manager and staff even manager agreed as we had a meeting with him and he said it’s old and needs lots of repairs.

It’s decent for the price you pay. The food is mediocre. If you don’t spent to much time in the hotel it’s ok. I recommend it!

Great location and excellent service from all the staff. The a la carte menu offered some delicious options. Scuba centers are 5 min walk from property.

Probably the best hotel to stay at here. Hotel A/C was so nice and cold after a long and hot day at the beach. The bed is comfy, bathroom is very nice. Food is delicious. I don’t know how they make their fries but they are the best fries I’ve ever had. Also the club sandwich from the room service menu is addicting and I ate it almost daily because it’s so good. The hotel lobby is fabulous and the pool is so nice. I’d choose this over the four seasons any day. The walk to the Naama Bay shopping area is kind of long especially in the heat, but taxis are cheap. The beach is so nice and there were even some colorful fish swimming around us there. They clean your room daily and they do an amazing job. The staff is so friendly and go above and beyond for guests. Hotel has stores inside for sunscreen and any other needs which is super convenient. Definitely recommend staying on the beach side of the hotel. I originally didn’t know there were two buildings and ended up upgrading upon arrival which was definitely worth it. Naama Bay Promenade, I love you and your amazing employees <3 Definitely my first pick when I come back.

Awful from start to finish. The hotel and rooms are very tired and dirty in many places. I stayed on business for COP27 and paid a huge amount of money for it but the comments are not about value for money but rather getting the basics right. The room looked like it hadn't been refurbished for 20yrs.

Stay was okay but I was not impressed by how run down the Mountain Side hotel was. A/c, bathrooms, and building overall is needs to be refurbished. It used to be a Marriott but the quality is not the same. Buffett is poor at the mountain side but pretty nice at the beach resort across the street. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

This should not be a 5-star hotel Upon arrival, we were told to go to a different site of the hotel across the road named Naama bay promenade beach resort but the mountainside and at the same time told to pay a further $50/- per night per room if we wanted to stay at the beachside resort. The night of check-in staff at the reception was extremely rude and extremely unhelpful, he took over 2 hours to get us to our rooms, allocated rooms were scattered across the hotel, and I was placed in room 935 with a couple of my friends in nearby rooms and other rooms were 611, 613 and so on near the reception. My room was not even serviced, dust everywhere, no towels, no toilet paper, no toiletries in the bathroom, basin tap delivered brown stale water which suggested that room had not been used for a long time, furthermore, the bathroom was not cleaned, had red marks on the bathtub, the toilet was not cleaned, the shower curtain was black at the bottom part suggesting it was not washed for months if not years. Basin leaked on the floor and the toilet overflowed as it was blocked. The above is my personal experience and all of my friends had similar experiences in their individual rooms this is from a 5-star resort, absolutely unacceptable standard.
