Location was good, very close to the city centre. The hotel was clean and good value for money for a family of three.

Room was excellent for a family of 3 adults,my only issue was breakfast & the rude person shouting to customers to hurry up as she shuts the breakfast at 10.00!! This was 09.30

The stay was ok, however as reported by many other guests, the air conditioning is completely ineffective. The room was 25.5 degrees. Having set the controller to 19 degrees (the lowest it would go), I hoped to hear the ventilation come on and the room to start to cool. However, it was questionable whether there was actually any cold air coming through the vent as I could not really feel or hear anything. When I awoke in the morning, the temperature on the panel was 24.5 degrees even though the temperature was still set to cool to 19. Since it is not possible to open windows in the room, this meant for a very stuffy and interrupted nights sleep. With many other guests reporting the same issue, it sounds like this hotel needs to invest in upgrading the air conditioning system.

Overall, very nice day nice rooms very clean. But breakfast was appalling. No cups or teabags at the drinks machine. No cutlery to be found anywhere. Queue for food went all the way around the restaurant people waiting for more food to be brought out. The only appears to be two people working in the restaurant one may greeting you one young man clearing tables. We ended up leaving without having any food or drink.

Absolute shambles of a place! On arrival there was a que to check in which was so long that it went out of the doors. It took us half an hour to get checked in and by that time the que behind us was going down the street! The room was fine, clean bed, hot shower, standard hotel amenities. On returning to our room later that night we had been in the room 5 minutes when all the electricity went off. We tried to call reception but got no answer so my husband had to go down to get help, leaving me in a pitch black room. A lady arrived and told us it was something to do with the electrical box in the room, she managed to get the power back on for us and left us to get some sleep. Breakfast was another disaster! The que was horrendous, there were people leaving without eating at all. No cups/mugs available, no cutlery and when we did get to the food service it was a joke. The chefs had no prepared enough food and we could hear raised voices from the kitchen basically shouting 'How can I feed all these people when I have nothing left, I have no food'. It was the worst hotel experience we have ever had and after paying £395 for 2 rooms for 1 night its has woefully fell short of the standard we expected. Never again!

There was supposed to be parking at the hotel, but no one answered the buzzer and the staff on a smoke break outside told us to use the public car park across the street. We arrived 20minutes before check, so had to wait. Went to check in the queue was ridiculously long extending outside of the hotel and down the street, because only one computer terminal was working. The receptionist was miserable and rude. We had to pay an extra £30 when we asked what that was for? She snapped it was in case we damaged anything! It won’t be returned for at least 3or 4 days. The room was basic and bland, but clean. A new mattress would be a good idea. The air conditioning only worked if the main entrance light switch was on! The room temperature was 23degress Celsius- far too warm. To have the air conditioning only worked had to have the light on! Turning the light of to sleep turned the air conditioning off! Breakfast in the morning was chaos. Had to ask for forks. The hot food area is far too small for the number of people to be catered for. Had to queue for hot food which had been standing there far too long. Chose a dry croissant instead.

Check in chaos queuing outside in the rain for an hour, never had to do this at a hotel before, always been able to check in with ease 10 mins before check in time. Only had 2 out of the 4 desks open, however seemed to be a lot of staff about. Breakfast chaos no structure, no cutlery, layout not good people queuing for coffee crossing into the breakfast queue. Positive note room clean and today and spacious, comfortable bed.

Average hotel , cramped room ,only 2 chairs despite large twin double bed and single, poor breakfast choice and quality( no wonder it's complimentary, and again it always happens in hotels with or without soundproofing Noisy guests returning to their rooms after night out drunk and inconsiderate ,talking loudly banging doors , scrambled eggs served Luke warm only 6 am in morning ! lack of choice, noisy air con ( at least drowned out sound of guests next door.
