We enjoyed our stay. Staff very welcoming. Bed so comfortable. Gardens beautiful. 15/20 min walk to town centre. Highly recommended and would love to stay hear again Note for hotel - please supply more coat hangers. Many thanks

Very friendly staff. The pool is nice. Amenities are ok for a spoiled American traveler;) but everything is clean. Also, don't hope to get anything complementary in expensive hotels in France:)

Small rooms. Very bad internet connection

Hotel was very clean and comfortable, good value for money. It was walking distance (15 min) to the center of Saint Remy and being outside the center was quiet and peaceful. It is quite tired though and the hallways were quite dim. Definitely ready for a refresh but otherwise a good stay.

A good experience...

Charming little hotel in St Remy. Easy parking, nicely manicured grounds, nice pool area. Bit of a walk to town, we preferred to drive, but can be done. Staff very helpful. Breakfast ok- I like fresh fruit in the morning, so was disappointed that the hotel doesn’t take showcase the Provencale summer bounty. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A friend and I took the TGV from Paris to Avignon rented a car and drove to beautiful Saint Remy de Provence. We were really impressed by this lovely hotel. The woman who welcomed us at the reception desk was so delightful and helpful as were all the other staff that we encountered. The breakfast buffet was worth every penny. I loved every minute of our 3 day stay including meeting the amazing 22 year old cat that is lovingly cared for by the family that owns the hotel :)

We have been visiting wonderful Saint Rémy de Provence every year for 35 years and have stayed at a number of hotels there. L’Amandière is our favorite! This charming small hotel just a few minutes from the town center offers lovely decorated rooms each looking directly onto an exceptional “hidden-away” garden. All the ground floor rooms have their own little private access with table and chairs. The smell of jasmin is delightfully “overwhelming” . Saint Remy’s best kept secret! Simply great and reasonably priced! Highly recommend!

This was the worst service and hospitality we got while in Europe, the Hotel was totally empty and we were the only guests, the manager gave us the smallest room, one with a bathroom that we could barley walk in and yet when we asked her to give us something a little bigger she wanted to charge us much more than what your site had offered. Also the TV was not working and when we asked her to fix it, she showed us a very bad attitude and implied as if we had something to do with it. i can't say enough on how inhospitable she was and how unwelcome we felt. If we had not paid in advance we would not have stayed. The only reason we went to this Hotel was because of good reviews maybe they put a good show on during summer time, but we felt totally unwelcome and it almost ruined our few days in Provence. For the 2nd night of our visit we decided to change Hotels and went to a much nicer one !!!!

An oasis of peacefullyness and confort. Easy parking. A car is needed since it is too far to walk confortablly to St. Remy.

The hotel is well situated somewhat close to St. Remy in an area with schools and playing fields. The service was very friendly with an overall upbeat atmosphere about the place.

Nice comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. It should have been a good night's sleep because the bed was good and the room was quiet. The only problem was a telephone malfunction? It rang at 4AM, and 5AM, and 6AM until we finally unplugged it.

This is the third time that we have stayed at this hotel in the last 15 years or so. It is perhaps just starting to get a little tired, but is still very comfortable and convenient for exploring this part of France. I would not recommend this hotel for travelers without a car, as it is a little bit out of town, but if you are driving you have a nice secure location for your vehicle at night. I would stay here again if we visit this great part of France again.

decor a little dated but a real retreat. best service i found on my france trip by a long way, the owner was very helpful. only a 5 minute walk into st remy very convienient. check out the wednesday morning market there. parking at the hotel also made it a good base for day trips to gordes/rousillion etc.

Exceptional, excellent value for money and charming. Reception and the hotel in general were fresh, tastefully furnished and decorated. The hotel stands in its own grounds, accessed through automatic gates and surrounded by its delightful garden. Situated in a quiet part of town, a pleasant 15 minutes’ stroll to the centre, where there are several restaurants and bars of all price ranges. Note, we found that expensive does not necessarily mean better and we had some wonderful good value meals as well as a good albeit rather expensive one! We took breakfast at a cost of €8 each and were concerned that this might be expensive. Not so! Breakfast was superb and included a choice from cold meats, yoghurts, honeys, cereals. fruit, nuts, tomato salad, boiled eggs and Wow-Wow croissants, pain au raisin and pain au chocolat and the freshest bread We were able to miss lunch and still managed to gain loads of weight! The bedroom was bright, clean, always had a fresh smell – how do they do that? – with a decent bathroom with spacious shower and separate toilet. Not least, our room as all of the upper rooms I believe had a balcony large enough for two on which to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and the evening air. The ground floor rooms have their own small garden areas. We would return to this hotel without hesitation.

L'Amandiere is beautiful. The grounds are lovely, the breakfast room beautiful, the owner helpful and friendly. I wish we had planned our trip to stay an extra day in St Remy. There is a lot to see in the area. The hotel is not convenient to the sites, so you have to drive, but not for long distances. Our room had a little niche with a twin bed for our toddler. The room is very small, but other than that there are no drawbacks.
