Absolutely a great find in Palompon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Liziel's B&B is simply wonderful! Our spacious room was comfortable, and the breakfasts were amazing – the perfect way to start each day. Tiny home made banana cake was my favorite. But what makes this place exceptional are the hosts: Liziel, Morley, and their whole family. They are the heart of the home! So genuinely friendly, welcoming, and warm, they made us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived. Highest recommendation! Don't miss the chance to experience this gem in Palompon Leyte. We can't wait to return!

"Our arrival was a bit surprising for the owner, as their internet was down due to a power outage caused by Storm Tino, meaning they hadn't seen our booking. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and immediately turned the situation around! They upgraded our room to one with a private toilet and shower. The only minor drawback was the lack of air conditioning due to the storm, which affected our sleep slightly. Despite the AC issue, the warm hospitality and kindness of the people we met made the stay worthwhile. Highly recommend for the excellent service!"

I had an absolutely awesome time there. The owners read every wish of my face. The breakfast was a nice full meal at the time of my choice. The town is very small, so you can reach everything on foot. Or take a rickshaw for 10 pesos. Besides the normal roosters in the morning, very quiet. The best thing was when one afternoon I didn't find any dinner in town I liked. I just said I wished I had found a nice noodle soup. Half an hour later, they invited me to one.

Owners are very accomodating, they woke up at 3am to make us full breakfast since were checking out at 5am! Room is comfortable and clean. House is close to the port and food. Would highly recommend it! We will be stopping by next time we come to Palompon.

The hosts were truly accommodating. I had a bike with me and they allowed me to park it right outside the front door. The place has a gate so it felt very secure and the staff are always watching guard. When I arrived, they gave me an upgrade upon learning that I'm a solo female traveler. I got bumped up to a bigger room! So generous. The beds were very comfy and the AC works well. They had reliable internet. I was able to work though I didn't have any video calls that day. It felt like a real homestay, I got to chat with the family that owns the place which was pleasant. They were welcoming without being too intrusive so if you're not the chatty type, don't worry. The morning before leaving for Kalanggaman Island, they served a hearty breakfast with tocino, danggit, fried rice, eggs, bread, and a slice of fruit. I left full and happy. Palompon is a pretty small town so everything is just a 15-minute walk. There's an ATM by the Tourism Office. Nearby, there's a food park with Filipino food. Jollibee and Goldilocks are also within walking distance.
