The pool is the best part. I traveled with my family. The front desk needs to be more friendly with customers. I didn't like the way they talk to us.

They did not provided me with breakfast and the room had a leak, did not fix it!

Good hotel, quite a walk from the centre and the area around it is not very nice specially at night. Room was clean but noise fron the next room leaks through the connecting doors. The staff was not as nice as they could be but not rude either. I would consider somewhere closer to Macroplaza if you plan on walking most of your trip; if you have a car for your trip then this hotel is good since it has onsite parking.

Plaza de Oro doesn’t allow you to have visitors in your room, the front desk girl was so rude; I had planned for a 10 day stay but left after the second day to a different hotel

The personnel was not courteous at all. They charged me for an additional adult even though I had added the correct number of adults on our reservation. If we didn’t pay, we would forfeit what we had already paid for our reservation. We had to keep asking for towels for three people (just like they charged us) and then they came to clean room and took towels we had just requested. Before we could check out, they had to check room to confirm we hadn’t taken anything. The “free” breakfast included in the room charge is only a plate of fruit and a cookie. Needless to say, we will never stay at this hotel again.

Well, I saw they are 5 star hotel and pictures looks good , arrived and room was not a 5 star hotel , definitely here is 2-3 star hotel , room booked for two adult and second person arrived in the night and they didn’t let to come at the room and finally solved by coming down and speak with front deck, they couldn’t speak English and that’s the other reason for not giving the great feedback for this property

This hotel is excellent. It is beautiful on the outside and inside. The rooms are clean. The service i amazing. The hotel provides a light breakfast that consist of coffee, juice,sweet bread/pastries and fruit. But you can purchase heavier meals from their menu. The restaurant is open all day until 10pm. Because of covid we didn't have access to the pool or gym. But it's ok. The hotels location has an easy access to walk up and down downtown Monterey.

Our stay was comfortable, very tentative staff, walls were kinda thin, but overall the place was clean, and we enjoyed our stay.

When I was checking in, a random person arrived and ask for a room. I found out that he received a much more better rate that the one I got. felt like an idiot. Always taught that I had good rates!

Well to begin only 4 people per room, so if youre a family of 5 you might have to get another room as we did with 6 members even though we booked for a double bed room. We werent told that in order to use the pool you have to reserve your time & its only for an hour. There is no bar on site but they do sell alcohol beverages. other than that the hotel was pretty clean, staff was nice.

The place is beautiful. The decoration and organization of the restaurant inside.
