The accommodation was modern, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. I especially appreciated the cozy interiors, well-equipped amenities, and the friendly, accommodating staff who made sure I had everything I needed.

Great cabin with excellent location

Lovely room overlooking the lake . Could not fault it at all . Lucky enough to have clear skies at night to view the lovely stars in all their glory . Highly recommend

What a dump! Words and pictures do lead you to believe you will be staying in a nice lake front cabin when the reality is you are in front of a dusty and noisy road. I found a really ugly bug (possibly centipede) by my bed, needless to say the mattress was plain horrible. The check in person was a stickler for the 3pm check in time, which after a long drive wasn’t pleasant at all. All I can say shame on you Expedia for offering this!

Wonderful views but property is in need of some modernisation

A little disappointed as I thought I had booked a room that was on the waters edge(motel name) - was in fact up a hill across a road and green area( photos online imply that you are staying in a room with the edge of the water a stones throw away. The view was beautiful from our patio. Didn't really like having a drink on the patio and the constant flow of cars going by to the campsite, kicking up dust from gravel driveway. The room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom- the sheets were lovely & crisp and clean. Reception staff warm and friendly

The location is a Holliday park with few motel type rooms. The rooms were nice, neat and clean. Enjoyed the two days stay. The staffs were friendly

This was a really nice lakeside property with excellent amenities for a holiday park. Fair warning, this is mostly for RV campers, with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. But the staff were very helpful with everything and we loved our stay. Highly recommend if traveling to Lake Tekapo for a couple days or even just one night!

Lakes Edge Holiday Park is a perfect getaway on the shores of stunning Lake Tekapo. The location offers breathtaking lake and mountain views, with easy access to Tekapo Springs, the village, and Mt. John Observatory. Accommodations range from cozy cabins to lake-view motel units and well-equipped campsites. The park is clean, well-maintained, and features excellent amenities, including communal kitchens, BBQ areas, and a playground. Friendly staff, a peaceful atmosphere, and incredible scenery make this an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended!

Good facility for campground style motel close to highway & lakefront. Clean, good kitchen facility. Bedding bad with heating elements under sheets very uncomfortable.

Excellent accomodations for a one night stay at Lake Tekapo. We were very pleased with ample hot water, safe environment, beautiful view, dishes for the kitchen, squeaky clean cabin, and comfortable beds. The bathroom sink is oh so tiny with no counter space but the kitchen sink and counters served us well for extra face washing. Highly recommend this facility.

A great en-suite cabin with spectacular views across the lake in a very tranquil setting, and easy to walk into town along the foreshore into town for shops and cafes.
