The room was in good condition. The staff was friendly, informative, and courteous. Very quiet and comfortable room. The aesthetic is modern and beautiful with lots of seating areas.The rooms are not ideal for takeaway food. There's a hidden gem rooftop restaurant (Oaks &Vine) which offers delicious food options, the wait staff are very professional and courteous, and has the best views of Cairns. Any guest staying longer than 2 nights will realize you're basically paying for the location. This hotel offers basic lodging necessities. There's a no-housekeeping option which can be ok for very short stays but longer than 3 days seems a bit unhygienic. Otherwise, the guest must pay for daily housekeeping at $30/day. No laundry services here. The pillows are not that comfortable and extras are not available. Standard minibar offerings but no complimentary water. This is not typical of 4-star hotels; it's 3-star at best (by US standards). I would caution solo female travelers that the hotel is safe but shares the same plaza with nearby restaurants and Night Market. There is no hotel pool but the esplanade (public) lagoon is directly outside the entrance which can be fun for guests with children. The hotel is in walking distance to the Marina for any GBR tours, the Night Markets, and Cairns shopping centers/mall. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to guests for shorter stays or to those who will be out/away most of the day. Decent experience.

Hotel was very convenient near the harbor, restaurants and parks. We were in Cairns to see the barrier reef and the hotel was 3 minutes away from the harbor. The rooms were excellently appointed. The decor was fresh and new. The beds were awesome and really comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cairns

Great location, friendly staff

It’s in a great location right in the heart of the city entertainment area. The room was absolutely stunning and the staff were great. The only slight negative is that we were on level 4 and the rooftop bar was quite loud until after 10pm and then the set up for breakfast (assumption) started about 5.30am.

Liked the friendly staff. Always helpful. Little library useful. Coffee on the roof. Dinner at sunset....
