Very noisy, like sleeping on the highway and not in a hotel. The breakfast is meager and not tasty. All the reviews I read earlier are not true regarding what I noted above. The cleanliness and amenities of the room are good.

This hotel was fantastic, very clean, great buffet breakfast, great beds. Only 1 mile from downtown Truckee

It was a convenient location for getting to Northstar ski resort. We just stayed one night. The gal at check in (on Tues 3/18/25 4 pm) couldn't seem to find the Expedia res--something about she thought it didn't get processed, but a manager was able to resolve it without further issue.

Excellent, clean, quiet. Will definitely stay here again. The only complaint I have is the $10 charge per day for parking. However, the free breakfast made up for that cost.

Nice new facility and helpful staff. Disappointed to be hit with an unexpected $10 parking charge. Their listing just says “parking available”, but nothing about a fee, and they made no mention of this at checkin. The parking lot here and next door were very large and not gated, so unclear why there is any fee at all.

Beware of hidden per-night parking costs not listed on your Expedia reservation. They tell you when you check in.

Consistently best place to stay with family, close to restaurant and comfortable place to relax after day of snow sports. Our kids love eating breakfast here.

I can always count on Marriots to be clean, safe and comfortable. The beds are very comfy and the bathrooms extra clean. The staff is so helpful. I love staying here.

beautiful new renovation great hot tub, good breakfast setup that can get crowded. Only thought is bathrooms have clear glass doors which means you will be woken up every time someone uses it at night

At booking I was told "all included...wi-fi, parking, breakfast". At check out I was charged $20 for parking. Breakfast was basicaly un-edible...dog-food...at best. Two nights stay: NOBODY show up to bring a towel, make the beds...etc....0 service. And that for $200/night....to AVOID at all cost...again...miserable.

Great place, but one thing was so annoying! They put the fire alarm directly over the bed with the red light shining into your eyes.

Great location and room size. Nice to have 2 queens plus a trundle sofa bed for our family. However, did not like the paper plates and bowls as our only option for breakfast- too wasteful

On a very cold night ( ten degrees) the heater in the room did not work --just blew in cool air all night, finally just turned it off. Plenty of blankets in room so was warm enought to sleep but in the am the roo was COLD! Let front desk know. Decent breakfast as part of the price.

I have stayed here multiple times and this last stay my room had a terrible smell. I would equate it to the smell of BO. When I arrived, I was switched from a King room to a 2 Queen bed room which was fine. When I got to my room and walked in and it smelled awful, I tried to open the window but it's locked, run the fan in the bedroom, it didn't work. I was too tired to go through the hassle of switching rooms, I used the gym in the morning there were no wipes, no towels to use. This was the first time I did not have a good experience.

Great place to stay in Truckee. Loved the room size!!!

All very good just need to collect garbage from rooms daily
