The resort room advertised isn’t really what you get. The staff really didn’t know what was going on with the mountain resort or general information. The hot tub was broken for days and was not accessible. The room itself was ok for two people.

Beautiful views, quiet location just out of town, but still close and convenient to all the shops and services.

Toaster and frying pan needed to be replaced. No dining room table for eating. Too small for four people.

We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment style room. Extremely comfortable, full kitchen, great family room, 3 baths, spotless and it was pet friendly! Check in remotely couldn’t be easier! We love this place for a stopover or stay in Revelstoke!!

Nice location, just out of town. Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Bedroom and living area were average size but bathroom was extremely small, with a very tiny sink, making it hard to use. Noticed quite a few small ants on the floor when a piece of dog kibble dropped on the floor. The ants swarmed it. Saw a number of silverfish as well. The room needs to be sprayed for ants and silverfish. The first night it was quite warm in the room so we turned the temperature down, using the cool feature, from 23 degrees to 20 degrees, for sleeping. The thermostat didnt work however, and 12hrs later the room still showed 23 degrees, and we were unable to sleep because of the warmth in the bedroom. I told the front desk about the problem and a few hours later a young girl came to look at it. She figured we had not pressed the "set" button after changing the temp to 20 so she reset it for us. 5hrs later it was still 23 degrees so I went to the front desk again. The gentleman said he would call maintenance. A short time later he sent me a text saying maintenance told him to tell us to just turn the thermostat off. I guess they didnt want to bother coming to the room? We also opened all the windows and got the temp to 22.5. By morning it was 22 degrees. For the next 2 nights we were there no one bothered to check in or send maintenance over as obviously the thermostat was still broken. Turning it off is not fixing it. We put up with 22 degrees each night. Not impressed. Would not stay there again.

Basecamp hotel is very cozy and it is like a home away from home. Everything you need is in your room from the kitchen to your very own laundry. We will definitely come back whenever we are in Revelstoke it is ideal for a family.

Unfortunately our stay was not pleasant. There was no hot water to have a shower with and despite reporting that to reception the receptionist took a break at that critical time and led us to believe the issue would be corrected shortly which it wasn't. It persisted for hours and overnight into the next morning. It looks like I will receive a refund for this for which I'm grateful however there were other issues as well such as the coffee machine not working and the cleaning staff showing up exactly as we were trying to check out pressuring us to leave as well as not having set up the room properly in the first place (the tables and chairs were in the corner.) Also the receptionist the night before could not provide advice as to where to eat and directed us to the Village Idiot. All the staff seemed disengaged, which points to an overall management issue. To top it off the hot tub was not hot. This stay exemplified the notion of the OFF season.
